the one we got from the store sounded much better but it still did the job
to be honest we had the same one we had bought from a guitar store for my son but by accident i broke it ... ops lol so i replaced it with the same one from amazon and they didnt sound the same, the one we got from the store sounded much better but it still did the job, we just noticed a difference from having 2 of the same kind of guitars. it still went to good use till my son decided to upgrade, this is more to practice and learn on, in my opinion great for a beginner

Made in China. Save your money and buy something better
It was packaged properly and shipped quickly. Finish and overall cosmetics were average, fretboard was painted. Strings were the cheap kind and the guitar has NO ADJUSTABLE TRUSS ROD whatsoever (seller, if you're reading this then fix the listing description ASAP for crying out loud because you fooled me with that. That was the whole reason why I made up my mind buying the guitar in the first place!!) As soon as receiving the package I unpacked it and tuned the guitar right away and noticed that the tuners were too stiff for their own good even after letting the guitar settle overnight at room temperature. When the strings finally acclimated to the tension and somewhat retained their tune I started to play around with it but noticed that there was an annoying buzz that's resonating. Not fret buzz, not harmonic buzz. It sounded like it was a loose saddle so I took it to the local guitar shop the next day to figure it out. It turns out that a brace inside the guitar was cracked due to a poor build. I was thinking of returning the item to Amazon but to pay for return shipping charges would easily cost me more than half of what I paid for the guitar itself since I live in Alaska. So I just had the guitar shop repair it instead, they estimated that I would pay around $40-60 in labor when the jobs gets done. I am waiting for the guitar to get repaired but I would advise everyone to stay away from this product. Sure it looks pretty and whatnot, but what really matters most for a beginner is the playability and reliability of the instrument. The overall quality of the guitar itself is below par, even for the price.

More for less.
I have this guitar but it's now old. It's probably over 20 years old now. It does not have an adjustable truss rod of any kind it is a cheep guitar BUT it sounds good, plays with little effort. Very lite and resonate. In her old age there is a but of fret board separation and visible wearing threw the laquor finish that shows the binding is painted on by exposing wood. Like I said you can not adjust the neck relief but in all these years it has moved very little (still has moved) she was made in China but I am now going to buy a second one to preserve the first one that was my grandmothers. I played this guitar hard as a teen. It is fantastic for classical and flaminco. The tone is beyond reproche in my opinion.

Classical, nylon string, 2" nut guitar
A little more information in the description of this Guitar, this is a classical style guitar with nylon strings (not steel strings). A beautiful body and good sound for a nylon string guitar. The neck is about 2" nut (most guitars are 1 11/16 to 1 3/4" at the nut) and a bit easier to play if you have medium to large hands. As a classical guitar the picking is easier as the string spacing is slightly larger. A darn nice guitar and very good price. I believe the scale is 25 1/2"

Decent budget guitar
I didn't have high hopes for this guitar, I just wanted a guitar at a price I could afford. The strings included are cheap so buy another spare set or two. Tuning this thing is difficult. I feel as though there's too much tension all around, yet I'm so far out of tune. Also, it regularly gets out of tune quickly, more so than my Fender but I'm sure nylon strings have something to do with that. If I had the chance to buy it again, I wouldn't.

JUNK/GARBAGE/EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING
Honestly, GARBAGE!Shipping was very quick, however when I received the guitar I opened the box. I was honestly surprised with the beauty of the color but later realized a huge dent/scrape on the bottom of the guitar. Almost as if the back was coming off of it due to poor/cheap building. Also, THERE IS NO ADJUSTABLE TRUSS ROD ANYWHERE ON THIS GUITAR! You can't even play the thing due to the awful buzzing on the neck of the guitar. First Act puts out a better quality instrument than this.SHAME ON YOU LUCIDA/JOHNSON or who ever makes these guitars (I've seen one of the companies bought the other one out)If you're looking to buy this guitar, just take the $80 and set it on fire.IM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!There is no way this guitar is marked down from $120.My 3 year old sons Lightning McQueen guitar that we bought from Walmart for $20 plays better than this piece of junk. You've been warned.
