Best Cheap Projector with 1080p
I really enjoy the projector so far after using for a couple of weeks. Was thinking to buy a LG short throw projector which cost $26xx., but decided to buy a low cost one to try out first. It does require a fully blackout area to have the best picture quality and brightness. I only use it in night time.I hook it up to my BOSE speaker system with RCA to audio cable included. It does have a built-in speaker but I didn’t try it since I have BOSE 5.1 system.I connect the projector with my Apple TV with HDMI Included in the package, which can access Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube TV, Prime Video and Disney+.I tried to set the projector about a bit less than 10 feet to wall, the picture quality is still good and I got full cover on my 150” Projector screen. For less than $70 projector, I would say it’s the best value you can get for an affordable home theater.Fan Noise:The projector does have some loud fan noise, but only can hear it when my speakers not playing. So no big deal at all.

It works, and works well.
I bought this mini projector so my wife and I could enjoy movies in our bedroom without spending hundreds on a big screen TV. For our setup we needed a few additional items to make everything work like we wanted, but I'll get to that later.Right out of the box, this is a very compact unit. We'll easily be able to mount or place this to give us the best possible projection size. The unit has an HDMI in, a VGA in, and 2 USB ports. Your HDMI capable devices (think switch, Xbox, DVD player) will plug right in. It comes with the necessary cables for this basic functionality. It also includes a remote, but ours did not include batteries. Also included is a 3 way cable for audio/video.To get this to work with your phone will require a few inexpensive items. If your phone supports it, you can buy a usb-c to hdmi adapter and plug your phone right in. Samsung phones seem to work great this way. Apple phones will require a lightning to hdmi converter cable, and will also be plug and play. My Google pixel phone was NOT plug and play so I had to purchase a Chromecast to link my phone. This turned out to be a great solution for me.The sound on the unit comes out of a speaker on the projector itself. There are a couple of days to get better sound. My solution was to run the 1/8 mm headphone output in to an external Bose speaker. Any speaker with an input will work with the appropriate adapter. All in all I am happy with my personal home theater setup. The biggest complaint I have is the instruction manual is less than comprehensive. I really wish this unit supported Bluetooth, but for what I paid, this unit delivers and then some.I recommend this projector for your on the go movie needs, or as a basic in home phone mirror. I would not recommend this unit for work related tasks such as PowerPoint.

Return it if it doesn't project image in 3 seconds
Received my first order and had problem getting it to project an image. The lamp doesn't even light up.Contacted the helpline to troubleshoot it but they weren't helpful at all. It was very frustrating. It obviously has a faulty lamp but they kept telling me to switch off and unplug everything, then plug them back in and switch it on again. Then asked me several times if I'm even doing it properly.. It's like they are reading off a script. I don't think they have even operated this product before. One of them even told me that it's not projecting image because I did not connect any (HDMI or ubs) cables. Straight up rubbish. Because I returned it and got a working one.1. Plug in the power cable and your media cable2. turned on the power3. Press the On button4. Lamp lights up and projects home screen(That is when you get to select your choice of media, sit back and enjoy.)The projector should project the home screen whether your media cables are plugged in or not. I wasted my time trying to explain to them that's how it should work but it doesn't. It was like it's a taboo for them to acknowledge that it is faulty. The word, "RETURN" seems to be taboo too. I ended our conversation when I realized how unhelpful they were. If you don't have a Buddha patience, you might start flipping when they say, "Are you sure you are doing it right?"If your lamp doesn't light up after 3 seconds, just press the return option and exchange for another one. OR, you can contact the helpline if you feel like wasting your time. Cheers.Oh, the actual working one is great for its price. A 3 years old can operate it.

Good for the price
This is my 4th projector and by far the least expensive. I have spent between 300 and 2000 in the past. Make sure you understand this isn't native 1080p output, but it does accept 1080p input and downsample it to project at DVD quality. If you output computer display, you wont be able to read normal sized text very easily, but you can kick up the text size and funtion if you need to. That said, this is incredibly useful for being so cheap. I keep it in my office for a backup projection tool. Brightness is ok if the room is relatively dark, sharpness is ok as well. You aren't going to get the quality of a 300 dollar projector here, but it is quite good for the price and feels solidly built.
