Definitely 5 stars! My girls aren’t big fans of water but this helped some. I have a 7 and 9lb maltipoo and we bought an XS for both. I felt like this best made them both feel very secure because it wraps well around them. The part that holds up the head got a little floppy once wet but still helped hold up their heads. I love that it’s removable though. They also sent extra Velcro to make sure the dogs hair doesn’t get stuck. This is a great vest and we can’t wait to use them again! I searched high and low to find the right life vest for my TINY dachshund. She's less than 10 lbs, long and narrow, so finding a good fit was difficult. We go kayaking all the time and I normally would secure her using a harness. But she fell in once and I was able to pull her right back out of the lake, but she swallowed some water. It scared the crap out of us both so I ordered this vest. We used it for the first time today and it was fabulous. It fits great, is super adjustable, and it has a flotation flap under the chin that keeps her head up out of the water. The cool pink camo was bright enough to see even from afar if needed. She also didn't hate it as much as I thought she would. Overall one of the best dog purchases I've made to date.

I bought this life jacket exclusively because it has the headrest piece. My dog has a big ol' noggin for his little body and would freak out in the water. I could tell this gives him more peace of mind. I purchased the Large for my 50 pound German Shepherd mix. Big head, little legs.It fit perfectly. Plus he's absolutely adorable in it. We'll see how it goes over the summer and I will update with how it holds up.Update 12/23/17: still holding up! I have accidentally left it outside overnight a couple of times but still has the bright blue color and nothing is breaking apart.

Great Jacket!! My dog loves it. Perfect fit for my dog. Strong stitching, solid buckles, reliable Velcro and high quality jacket make my dog safe in the water.

I purchased this life jacket because my Pomeranian loves to jump off our breakwall, but is unable to jump back up... The life jacket is well made and seems to be comfortable. The little guy is able to run, jump and play with it on without a problem. I’m not convinced that the head support cushion is all that helpful...he would have to be tired and unable to hold his head up to test it, which, thankfully, he has not experienced. The head support cushion is removable, but it doesn’t seem to bother him, so I keep it attached. Size wise, he is 10 lbs. and the small fits fine.

Perfect fit for my 6 lb chihuahua. Make sure you measure your dog, weight is not the most important measurement. It's about the Neck and Chest measurements. Like people, dogs also have different body types and your fitting their body to get the right fit to keep them safe and have the jacket work properly. Measurement chart is posted in the pictures.I bet those who marked this product down didn't measure their dog properly because this is a wonderful life jacket. YOU HAVE TO BUY LIFE JACKETS FOR DOGS BY BODY MEASUREMENTS.

These PSD's are very well made. I bought two, one for my Pitbull and one for my Husky. I ordered the one for my Pit a little big, because she is still growing, and it fit the way I expected. A little big, means room to grow. Perfect! I ordered an extra large for my Husky and it fits him perfectly. He doesn't seem to mind it either. He can walk, run, play just fine. My Pit doesn't love it, but she got used to it in about 20 minutes, and was back to romping in no time.In the water: It is very lightweight, so it didn't seem to restrict them in any way. The chin flap is very nice, kept my Husky from sucking in water. Everything stayed clasped and secure.The handle on top is super convenient for assisting in the loading/boarding department. It is very strong. Our Husky weighs 70 lbs and the handle did great. I wouldn't trust the leash clip very much, as it is made of plastic. If our Husky pulled too hard, it would snap off, but that didn't really bother me since he wears his collar in the water.All in all, this is an awesome product!

A large was perfect for my 50lb pit bull/pharaoh hound mix. He hates the water, and didn't like having the jacket in at first (hence his expression in the photo of me picking him up by the handle). After wearing it a while I think he got use to it, and I think it gave him more confidence in the water because he got in all by himself! I'm one proud puppy mama. The material seems relatively durable (have only used it twice so far), and the orange really stands out against the water. The underbelly fastens with a long, thick strip of Velcro followed by two draw straps with plastic fasteners. The front comes around the chest, wrapping around the neck with Velcro and a single draw strap with a plastic fastener. It will not fall off. The handle at the top will probably rip eventually (I mean—he's 50lbs and I pick him up to move him a lot, haha). There is also a plastic piece to hook a leash to on the top which is super convenient.

After looking at so many similar products, I chose VIVAGLORY based on the item description and reviews. I was concerned about getting the right size for my Working Cocker Spaniel, as she is leaner than other types of Cockers, and her vital statistics didn't tally with many of the sizing tables from other manufacturers. It is a superb fit, fully adjustable, very easy to put on and stays in place. The grab handle feels sturdy and I am able to pick her up with ease. She happily ran around with the jacket on, without any sign of agitation. Not tested in the water yet, but the quality and design leaves me confident that it will perform perfectly.

Good quality life jacket, used all year for my lab to come to beach while we surf. She is safer in the water and bright colour easy to see. The handle on top is very handy too . Recommended

Although I had to remove a piece of float padding from under or of the chin straps. as was way to much. Fits brilliantly. Easy to grab after she leaps off the paddle board. I have a 12 week old cavapoochon. She gets into it no problem. Colour is lovely & loads of room to grow. Very happy & will purchase again when she grows out of it or I fancy a different colour for her.

Very pleased with this well made product. The only improvement needed would be a double-handle on the top if you need to pull a dog out of the water makes it easier. Other than that, it's great quality, strong, high visibility, adjustable hooks and straps for comfort fit for your dog, mesh underbelly helps stop the dog overheating when not in the water. I recommend this. This is a dog lifesaver coat - not a lifesaver VEST which is quite different so please read small print. This represents great value.

Love this! My little man hates swimming and will freeze up when in water. We like to go on lots of boat trips (which he loves) so I bought this to protect him from drowning just in case he falls in the water.We tested it out on him in shallow water to make sure he floats and he just bobs along nicely.Very happy, and Simba is still able to run around freely in it.Great value for money, nearly had my friend in tears after showing her it as she had just purchased one very similar for around £45!
