Harimaen Kyoto Uji Organic Sannen-Bancha teabag 5g24p(Japan import)JAS mark

I ordered this product from other online company (Japanese) before and I liked this tea, so I ordered through Amazon this time. I was disappointed when I received the product and found that it has reached its expiration date.

I have not bought these tea bags. I was given a bag of loose Sannen Bancha. had never heard of it. I gave only 3 stars*** because the few Teabags are so expensive. However, 5 stars***** for everything else. Maybe this is the best on offer unless you live in Japan?? What I report on is the wonderful quality of Sannen Bancha. I simmered a quart-worth, it a long time and let it sit, as directed, drank some hot (great) then cooled the rest in the fridge. On a killingly hot day, i think it is the best ever, straight from the fridge--to cool down fast. I have tried all sorts of black, brown and green japanese teas--this is my favorite. Make a large bottle and it keeps well for at least up to two weeks. So, if you can afford this product, and can't find it elsewhere, go for it!
