Over the years, the two partners have continuously revolutionized their field of choice and have profoundly changed people's perception of Hi-Fi cables. Now it is taken for granted that an audio/video cable is just as important in a Hi-Fi or Home Theater system as an amplifier or speakers. In order to better understand the importance of a cable in an installation, the best thing is to transpose the situation to another field: that of the automobile. The logic is as follows: since we do not equip a small city car with Formula 1 wheels, so why do the opposite? With a Hi-Fi system or home theater it is the same. The quality of a cable always influences the rendering of an installation and this QED has understood it well. As early as 1978 the manufacturer marketed its speaker cable, there was a general awareness of the essential role played by connectivity in a system. ## Features - 9.999% Silver Plated Central Conductor (SPOFC) with Dielectric Sheathed Extruded Polyethylene (PE) Foam Double Braid 99.999% OFC for full coverage electromagnetic shielding - When comparing this equipment to the competition's equipment, we notice audible acoustic improvements - At QED we are so proud of the level of quality and performance achieved with our cables that we offer a lifetime warranty. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0156LEWJW | | Best Sellers Rank | 28,577 in Electronics & Photo (See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo) 229 in Speaker Cables | | Brand | QED | | Cable Type | Digital Audio | | Colour | purple | | Compatible Devices | Amplifier, Audio Receiver, CD Player, Equalizer, Headphone Amplifier, Home Theater System, Speaker, Stereo System, Tape Deck, Turntable | | Compatible Phone Models | audio | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Male | | Connector Type | RCA | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (15) 4.1 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05036694037515 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Length | 1 Metres | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 0.3 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | QED | | Manufacturer Part Number | QE3212 | | Maximum Voltage | 5 Volts (DC) | | Model Name | QE3212 | | Model Number | QE3212 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Pins | 3 | | Other Special Features Of The Product | Magnetic | | Outer Material | Braided | | Recommended Uses For Product | Audio,Audio/Video | | Specification Met | ANSI | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** QED - **Cable type:** Digital Audio - **Connector type:** RCA - **Special feature:** Magnetic ## Images ![QED QE3212 Reference Digital Audio 40 - Purple 1m - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7167V9KZADL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size Name** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear & detailed. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 March 2020* I bought this to use instead of an AudioQuest Carbon optical cable. At first I was not impressed it sounded like I had changed from Hi res back to mp3. But after a couple of weeks of burning in the cable sounds great both clear & detailed. Bass & treble are well balanced. Also it sounds good with a wide range from classical to heavy metal.I would highly recommend this cable but give it time to burn in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent digital coaxial cable *by on Reviewed in Australia 4 March 2024* It sounds superb after a couple of weeks of run in. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/148280255-qed-qe3212-reference-digital-audio-40-purple-1m](https://www.desertcart.be/products/148280255-qed-qe3212-reference-digital-audio-40-purple-1m) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
