I needed to replace the sprinkler manifold that I made out of schedule 40 PVC about eighteen years ago as the old one was leaking. I came across this item and it saved me time and is less likely to leak again being one solid piece and heaver gauge. This Amazon reseller shipped the item quickly. Very happy.

I have used these manifolds for 15+ years. They are easy to install and replace. The problem is that I am forced to replace them every couple of years. The manifolds cracks and then leaks at the first Tee. It is always at the same location.

First of all, I must confess that I purchased this item from Drip Depot rather than Amazon to save a few bucks. I'm writing this review to offer advice to people who cannot find an exact replacement for the old Orbit 3-port manifold with swivel unions: Model # 57156. I searched and searched for an exact replacement because I cannot reconfigure my underground water lines without a lot of work, to include jackhammering part of a sidewalk. Those of you who have been searching for a replacement already know that Orbit no longer makes or sells the Model 57156, or any other model with the same dimensions. Frustrating! Moreover, no big box store or hardware store in my state carries the Model 57156, nor could I find it on any website, including Amazon and eBay. Then one day I read about a manifold made by a company called Dura that "might" be a replacement for the Orbit 57156 (I read conflicting information about whether it's an exact replacement). Having all but given up on finding another Orbit 57156, I took a chance and ordered this Dura 1" manifold from Drip Depot. When I received it, to my relief, I saw that it is EXACTLY the same as the Orbit 57156. Same dimensions, same threads. Hooray! I promptly connected it to the sprinkler water supply line and the 3 Orbit valves, turned on the water, and NO LEAKS! I'm finally back in business and can use my sprinkler system again. So, if you are searching for an EXACT replacement for the Orbit Model 57156 3-port manifold, this is it!
