I was looking for a quick easy install/maintenance solution to track my fleet so far this isn't it Review: Nice solution for small delivery fleets and remote, unattended assets at risk of theft! - I started with one "fleet" version (the one with expanded 3month battery capacity), but switched to the TRK120 Automotive version, and now I have seven, and will get three more... It turns out that this automotive version has a good package of options for connecting these units to your car electrical system so you never have to worry about the unit's battery going out of charge. Specifically, they give you wiring for direct connect to your battery terminals but more usefully, they give you an "add-a-fuse" kit so that you can do the job yourself in 10 minutes via your vehicle's fusebox. Just google add-a-fuse and you'll see plenty of videos on how to do this - DIY video is plentiful as this is how people power their custom electric add-ons like car lights, sound systems, radar detectors, dashcams, etc. The 3-mo battery version turned out not to work for us - I think it's more for assets that don't have batteries, like semi-trailers, because the ease of connecting this unit to a vehicle battery so totally outweighs the hassle of periodically charging the unit that I don't see why anyone would get the 3-mo battery product if they have a battery in the vehicle already. The application behind the service works well when viewed from a PC, less so from your phone where there seems to be a lag in position updates. How do I use trackimo? We're a "local food movement" farm with delivery routes and expensive equipment scattered all over. Now when customers call for an ETA on a delivery I can tell them with accuracy how far the truck is away without trying to track down the driver, and I can sleep better at night, knowing that if a tractor is being stolen from a field, I'll get an alert that it is leaving its geofence area and I'll have a chance of recovering it. Cheers :)** A: WRONG! This is the 2G only unit! 3G is better as many companies will discontinue 2G service as ATT already has .
