Device & Application appears to be functional, but navigation, text of the messages, and menus kind of weird.Sounds like application has been made by very immature developers. I've a lot of experience in IT and still got some difficulties to make things to work. Clearly a regular user will be very confused. For example: - hard to create a Backup folder and name it - it counterintuitive, the menu disappears for no reasons. It hard to navigate out of an empty folder. When the folder created it impossible to point a full backup to this folder.Application does not preserve existing Apple folders, just does a bulk copy to a storage.My backup is incomplete, about 50% pictures is not copied (~2900 of 4900 files). Deletion of the files takes forever.Device persistently keep complaining on lost communication with the IPhone. (See attached screenshot)No The space usage report is not getting updated.I've to return my purchase.I would not advice to by buy this device to anyone.Norman

I shoulda known better. In fact, I bought this drive to replace a drive I bought 2 yrs ago which had a crappy app that degraded to the point that made the drive unusable. So, when I downloaded the 1-star rated app that is suppose to run THIS drive, I shouldn't have been surprised that the drive wouldn't recognize either my iPhone or my iPad. I returned it an hour later and paid $19 MORE for the Sandisk I should have bought in the first place.Moral of the story? If you are planning to buy cheap, visit the App Store FIRST. If the app is rated 1-2 stars, your shiny new cheap drive will probably be dead on arrival, or on life support soon after its too late to return it.There. I made the mistakes so you don't have to.

Even working with Apple having the device connected to a different phone while on the my phone the product would NOT function. And after 30 minutes with Apple and another 45 minutes trying desperately to get this to operate I threw it in the garbage. I would never recommend this to anyone. Sorry when techs can't get something to work I give up.

I am very unhappy with this product. It claim that it was very simple to do and transfer pictures or videos from phone to my my personal computer and that was definitely not the case. It asked to download an App to phone in order to use the product. I did and it would freeze up, locked up and was not able to transfer nothing over. I tried to read the directions on the app when it was properly downloaded and kept on kicking me out. What it did do was to doubles of everything on my phone "Photos, videos, but not transfer." I had to manually go into my phone and delete all the duplicates because i had NO storage do to all the duplicates that this device made. I don't recommend buying this product at all. I thought i would save a lot of money and time and it ended up being a Nightmare. Just right now i tried to RATE it to 0 and it did NOT allow me, so i gave it a ONE STAR and so the good folks out there can read my comments and NOT BUY IT!

So I gifted this item to my sister, since there aren't OEM flash drives like this for Apple mobile devices. It was working fine until a couple of days of use. Basically, the device stopped working. It can't be reformatted, as well. Did something get shorted? Who knows. Anyway, I arranged a replacement from Amazon. While the service was excellent, the replacement item wasn't. It was broken out of the box. The enclosure was coming off and that was totally unacceptable. Clearly, they have quality control issues. I decided I wouldn't bother anymore and just arranged to get a refund. So, another hassle for me and my sister, since we live countries apart from each other.

It works great! Better than I had expected. The transfer speeds I was getting was about 12mb/seconds in and 12mb/second out.While in use transferring 20gbs of videos the usb drive got pretty warm, but not hotThe app was easy to use and when I plugged it in, the App Store went to the correct page to download the app to use on an iPhone. I have not used it for an Android though.

This USB serves its purpose and the app is self explanatory, which I loved! But, as a university student always needing to hold precious information on the go, it fell apart after about two weeks. I kept it in a small velvet bag in my coat pocket. The phone piece completely fell apart, but I saved my photos to it from my phone with ease. It only took 2 hours to download 3,700 photos and 300 videos. Worth the buy for short term use, but treat with extreme care. I would buy another if I wasn’t so nervous about it falling apart again.

My need was for a FAT32 formatted drive. Unfortunately, I could not change the formatting and had to return the drive. I like the USB and Lightning sockets. A great idea.
