The cable have the same ends so the first time I connected my drone controller to my phone, my phone would not connect to the drone with the DJ Fly App. After several attempts turning drone and controller on and off, it still did not work. Finally I decide to switch the cable ends between the controller and my phone, then the Fly App connected. The next time I connected my phone to the controller, it didn't work again until I swapped the cable ends again. So if your phone is not connecting to your drone, I suggest to swap the cable ends.

I bought this to connect my mavic air to a kindle fire. It would not make the proper connection.

Says it works with Android, and my fault for not checking what I actually needed more carefully. This is a micro USB both ends. It's appears to be a well made cable - delivered quickly - great price. I can't use it until my Micro USB to USB C adapter arrives (for my LG Stylo).The Q & A section, which I read prior to ordering, is almost entirely bad information. The ends are the same. It DOES fit snugly into my DJI Spark, but wrong connection for my LG phone.But again, my fault for going too fast. Adapter will be here Thursday and I'll post if I have any issue.POTENTIAL BUYERS: Google your device to see what data connection it uses. Most are Micro USB, or USB C but there are several others. There are specialty cables for all of them, and adapters as well.

This is one fine cable! The connectors are built tough and fit into the controller that I have for my Dji Spark drone like it came from the Dji factory! The length is perfect to reach from the controller to my smartphone also without having a ton of slack cable hanging out to make a tangle of cable. One thing that I would suggest though is that you make sure that your smartphones connector port is a micro USB port and not another style because if it isn't this cable won't work! Different Android smartphones have different types of ports depending on the age of the phone so double check your phone before you order this cable! Otherwise I can't say enough about the quality of this cable! Even the cable covering is way better than any other cable that I have purchased!

If you are using any micro-USB adapted device, you will need this or similar cable to go between your controller and monitor. This one is long enough to be flexible and short enough to be practical. Good purchase. Five stars.

I bought this to use with a Mavic Pro, and found out that it only works "one way". Both ends fit in both the controller and the phone, but it will only connect the two if you put a specific end in the controller. I figured out which end that is, then drew a C (for Controller) on it with a white art pen. For good measure, I marked the other end with a P (phone).I use a MavMount, so my phone is up above the mavic controller, not hanging down below. So I needed the flat sides of this cable to be in a specific orientation. But, I can never seem to get the orientation of these 90* cables correct when I'm buying them, no exception this time! So I have to twist the cable around and it kind of gets in the way of the controller sticks. I could turn my phone around, but I hate having all the buttons on the "other" side. So, I'm living with it. The good thing is that the cable is long enough (just) to accommodate the phone being in the correct orientation.

The cord doesn't transfer information fast enough. Its like buying a cheap cable to charge your phone. It cuts in and out. I can connect the cord that came with the Mavic Mini to my tablet and it works fine (just not long enough). When I hook this cable up, it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Its garbage

Don't get me started on designers... or the people that try to sell products that are bad. Who ever designed this didn't know what they were doing. The right angle that allows for a clean connection is a wrong angle. They needed to flip the connection so it would fit clean in a DJI controller to the phone or tablet. So you have to twist it making it just wrong. It's better to have a straight connection... not this wierd thing.
