Not as avertised
My device doesn't detect it at all, I tried everything possible. Controller does work on my PC while using the cable, mine did actually come with the usb cable. i didn't get any instructions though, but i tried everything possible to get it to connect to my the bluetooth on a Fire 8 HD (2018) tablet with no luck. i give it 2 star based on the whole feature advertisement of having bluetooth comparability. The controller it's self has nothing wrong with it, it seems like a good playstation clone probably just as durable though the plastic seems to be a bit lighter. With that said i give the controller itself a 4 star, but the features get a 2. i bought it for the features not the design and I did not get what i paid for. I would send it back but its not entirely useless I can still use it on my PC for $10 thats not bad for a PC controller. So fire HD 8 (2018) is Bluetooth version 4.1 LE so keep that in mind when I say it wasn't detected by it. i found a wholesale website for this exact controller that told more specs than this sale page, I'll paste what it said here for those that desire a little more info."*4 way button, 2 analog joysticks*With new battery inside, can be charged at any time*2.4GHz wireless Bluetooth*Ergonomic design and easy to use*Compatible with PS3/PC""Technical Update maybe to help others with similar problemSince my review I've done little more research into getting this controller to work on android devices, so for my case this may just be a buyer error or misunderstanding of it's bluetooth I've watched a video on yt that showed how to get this type of controller to work, it seems i will need an OTG cable to pair it then the bluetooth connection afterwards in theory should work. Will it on fire os? i do not know yet. I'm going to try it soon as i get an OTG cable odered and I'll update after I get the necessary stuff to do what the video showed. Since amazon wont allow you to link externally i'll atleast give you the video name so you can go check that out yourself, if you are having trouble also. Name of the video is "How to PAIR Playstation 3 controller with any ANDROID Device(s)" Name of the channel is: "we are temporary not available" The controller in the video is a legit sony controller that looks identical to this controller just gold in color if this controller on amazon is a direct clone specs should be the same or pretty close to it. (as long as there is no false advertisement ya know how chinese sellers/clones are lol)My update to the last edit nothing not even otg cable would work for this controller on my fire HD 8. So don't buy this controller if that is what you want it for because it wont work so let that be a warning. At least it did work on my pc just not for every game I have. GRIP game for PC did not detect the controller persay it does but wont assign controls for it for emulators things like that it did just fine even the OS detected it. So if buying for android don't be surprised if you can't get it to work. Just have to weigh in on that idea, is $10 worth the chance? Because returning it could cost you as much as the purchase depending where you are from.I'm going to bump the controller to 3 stars because it does work and works well when it does work. Knock off 2 stars because the blutooth I don't think works least i couldn't get it to work.

Not to bad. Nice quality at a nice price.
Pretty close to the real thing. My kids got a hand-me-down ps3 to add to our collection and it was missing controllers. I ordered these because it was a 2 pack for a decent price. They have held up pretty well to the recklessness of my three boys and they still work. They are pretty comfortable and they came with charging cables so that's a plus. Not much to complain about here. I appreciate the fact that the symbols on the buttons look very similar to the original as I have seen some off brand controllers with some weird adaptations of the symbols, some were so far off it was difficult to recognize them. These are as close to the name brand controllers that I could find at a decent price and quality so we are satisfied with this purchase.

Very satisfied
As far as I can tell, this is almost on par with the official controllers, which are ridiculously overpriced for a system that's nearly 15 years old. I was hesitant about getting another third party controller since my last one was a total piece of junk (terrible battery life, took ages to connect), but this one performs very well. I think the battery life on Sony controllers is noticeably better, but for this price, I can't complain too much about it. I'm not sure why some people are saying the six-axis doesn't work. It works fine for me on The Last of Us, so maybe they either got a defective controller or it varies by game?Another small grief is that the packaging features different color controllers, but here they only offer black.

Great controller
I have a PS3 and don't foresee myself upgrading anytime soon, these controllers work just like the original. They're a good deal and $30 less than a used PlayStation branded one. They do have the rumble feature. I'm satisfied.Key differences between the Dualshock 3:These have a matte finish, they are a little bit lighter, and they turn off after a minute of inactivity regardless of what your settings are within your console.

Not a Sony controller but it works real close to one.
I bought this for my ps3. It's no sony controller but it works close enough to one. I can play my games with it. I get about 8hrs of playing time before the battery needs to be recharged. That's about the only complaint that I have about. If you need a new controller so you can play your ps3 you won't go wrong with buying this one.UPDATE:I've had this for a week and the toggle is sticking now. If I need to turn a corner then go straight when I release the toggle it springs back to center but my character is still turning. If I push the toggle in the other direction to straighten him out as soon as I release it he goes right back to turning in that direction again. I'll order a replacement then let you know if it's any better.

Doesn’t live up to expectations
Small for the hands. Battery charge goes very fast. Some of the actions with the controller don’t work or are delayed thereby affecting game play. I won’t buy another of these. You have To hit the buttons just right in order for them to work correctly I mean it’s harder to operate the controller then it is to play the actual game if I wanted something or I had to hit the buttons to try to make it work and still be with my ex-wife. Do better

Nice controller!
This controller works great with my PS3 and works well! It holds a good charge and I have no problems with the buttons when playing. For the price it was a bargain. It is light in weight, but fits comfortable in the hands, and so far no problems or technical issues. This controller is a good buy!

VERY STANDARD, OK CONTROLLER
This controller is hard to hold, even compared to the already terrible dual shock 3s. It is cheap, the buttons feel spongy and so do the triggers. Would not recommend it if it was not super cheap.
