Homtime iC1mini Wi-Fi Alarm Clock for Kids and Seniors, Alexa-Enabled Alarm Clocks with Customized Brightness, Smart App Control, Dual USB Charging, Multi-Alarms, Chocolate

I bought this product because it said it worked with Amazon's Alexis system but it doesn't. Alexis could not find these alarm clocks. The company that makes this alarm clock has an app that works real well to set the alarms and you can manage it from your phone, but it advertised it was supposed to do that also through Alexa and because it doesn't work with Alexa I wind up using 2 apps now. One for the alarm clock and one for everything else that's connected to Alexa. It's too inconvenient so I am returning these items. I'm very unhappy that they are advertising that this works with Alexa and it doesn't. I bought the new Alexa alarm clocks and I can manage that and my thermostat and everything else right on my phone app. Much easier especially since I have several kids who never set their alarm clocks and then can't get up for school. What a mess that it was every morning but Alexa fixed it. Now when I go to bed I check my Alexa app to make sure everybody alarm clock is set for the right time so our morning is streamlined now, no thanks to these alarm clocks. Waste of my time having to return it.

I have several of the Homtime clocks around the house, but this one sets its own time, so it's always accurate. (I know that having the exact time isn't terribly important, but I'm kind of a time freak, so I really appreciate clocks that are ultra-accurate). I downloaded the app to my iPhone, and yes, the app is a bit clunky, but you really don't need to use it again after the clock is set up.I don't use this clock for alarms, so I can't comment on it. But as a desk clock, it really can't be beat.

Syncs up perfectly with home network. I was worried that it wouldn't connect to Google WIFI but it does. It is perfect so far!

It doesn’t work with my WIFI, I can find my WIFI in the app, but the app just cannot connect to it, it always returns me a time out error. Neither my IPAD nor my IPhone can make it. I have to return it, super disappointed.

This WiFi Alarm Does Not work at all. I was purchasing the WiFi Alarm for my kids but when I got it, It could not connect to my WiFi.

I picked this up on Impulse because a promo code brought the price down to about $20. It's an interesting concept but the major glaring flaw for a "smart" device in 2019 is lack of customizable alarms and more importantly, being able to turn the volume down! It doesn't gently ramp up, it blasts the alarm so loudly that everyone in the room is awakened. My wife absolutely hates it as it jars her awake when I get up at 0500. It's a combination of the high pitched notes and the loud alarm. I have to try either taping over the speaker or soldering a resistor behind the speaker. More likely, I'll just return it. The Alexa skill is tedious to use and offers little additional functionality. I don't want to dictate sentences to turn an alarm on or off. The Homtime app is poorly written and translated with weird functions and features. Ungroup? It allows network time sync and multiple alarm settings. That's it. It was fairly difficult to set up as well. Even though I followed the instructions and the network icon was flashing, the clock kept timing out and wouldn't connect to my wifi until I pulled the plug and tried from scratch.

I was under the impression this device was an Amazon gizmo but really it is an alarm clock which through software may potentially be able to set an alarm via voice command on another Amazon device. Unfortunately after weeks of working on it I have yet to get my alarm to set with my voice. My speculation is that maybe when they made it, it worked fine but after various Amazon updates it doesn’t? I have no problem using it remotely with the app on ios devices and It works fine as a stand alone device. On another note I have also been disappointed to find the USB ports only do 1A devices, all of my iPhone and iPads require 2.4A. Between the two issues I will have little use for this. I hope they make an updated version!

have tried to add the alarm clock app to 3 different phones, 1 was 2.4.ghz only. The alarm clock will not connect to the 2.4ghz network. I run an ORBI MESH network. I took the 5ghz down to the lowest power setting so this will insure I connect to 2.4GHZ network. I spent several hours an did could not get it to work. It is now on its way back to Amazon. I had high hopes for this but it is not ready for today's home networks. I did contact homtime and they responded quickly but with useless information.
