Chair Harness - Portable Travel High Chair in Night Owl

Love this! We live in Bangkok and as much as the City tries, baby seats are not always the safest (or cleanest) things. This is a great alternative, baby can sit in any chair! Good quality fabric, easy to use and clean, and super compact. Very glad we got one!

What an amazing product! I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to write. We travel a lot, and high chairs are not always available. This can go in the diaper bag and makes any chair into a high chair. There's also a wide strap (they call it a cummerbund) to fasten around any chair that is open-backed so babe won't slip out the back. This is a must have for traveling families!

I have used the Totseat for 4 years with 2 children. I had read the story of how the maker created it (using her wedding dress first) and I loved the idea. It is gained tons of positive feedback every time i used it out and about as it is easy, portable, comfortable (for the child) and washable. I loved most of all that the child was included in the meal but still had room to play on the chair. Now I buy a totseat for all my friends and family as a part of my standard "things that helped us in the first year" baby gift.

We took this with us to Europe. How well it works (i.e., how comfortably it holds our 9-month-old), depends upon the height of the back of the chair it's on. The higher the chair back, the higher the front of the harness rides up under her armpits. The higher the less happy she is. We stopped using it after the elastic cord in the back, which tightens the seat back cover into place, broke after only maybe a dozen uses. Overall, it's a great concept for a product, but it didn't work for us. It isn't very well constructed and I wonder if a stretchier fabric might be better.

This is so crazy convenient. We bought this for Grandma and Grandpa's house and then took it on an international trip with us. It is easy to wash, quick to put on a chair. You can do it one handed. I would only suggest it if you have a solid sitter but this is so much better than those fold-up or clamp on highchairs. It lives in our diaper bag now so we are never without a place to stick our bub if we go to a restaurant that doesn't have highchairs.

This product did not work for my son. It wasn't sturdy and he refused to sit in it. I tried from 9 months until 13 months and it never worked for us.

We bought this when our son was 16 months as he became very independent, only wanting to feed himself and wanting to be a part of everything. This allows him to sit at the table with the rest of us rather than to the side in the high chair and he seems to prefer this a lot. One thing to watch for is to make sure your child will be tall enough to eat at the table - our son is 33 inches and we still need to put somethings under him to raise him up an inch or two.Overall great product and would recommend.
