Shoddy
Flimsy. Hope the squirrels don't break it before I can add some braces to it.

Take the instructions with a pinch of salt
TL;DRIf you are a person who must have instructions spoon fed to you perfectly and aren't able to think even ever so slightly outside of the box then don't get this. For everyone else, it's a bit of an exercise to put together and stores nuts for birds to feed on. For a first time ornithologist, get it.I swear the instructions that arrived with this table are for an entirely different product. When I counted out the screws contained with the table and compared to the instructions, I found that I was "missing" an entire size - which it also turns out I didn't need. Someone had also crossed out a size on the instructions and written an illegible number in pen instead. That being said, it's not a difficult table to put together. The instructions act as more of a guide, and the lack of pre-drilled holes adds to the challenge. When built, it's not overly tall, I would estimate 150cm give or take. All that being said, it has a very basic purpose to serve and I don't really think the birds care about Amazon reviews. The seeds are dispensed reliably, and I've had robins, and pigeons easily get to the food. The one time it did blow over with high winds, one of the sides came out. I simply pushed the wood with the nails back together and it was fine again. I can recommend this table, as long as you're up for a bit of brute force and a challenge.

Matchwood that takes ages to assemble
Once this is built I would expect it to last a winter before it rots away (or a day, see later). I had to use an electric drill, 2 sizes of bits, electric screwdriver, pencil and straight edge. As an experienced DIY person it took me over an hour to set up. All the parts are there but cheap is not a good enough word, it's made of quite literally old orange boxes! You certainly need to drill pilot holes if you want it to stand up straight. The instructions are reasonably good and all the parts were there but the holes were not big enough causing the wood to split (probably because they used different screws).Nothing is weatherproof and the bolts and screws will be expected to rust. However for the money and if you want to attract small birds to your balcony or small garden you could do worse for the money. Alternatively spend a lot more for something deaccent that will last. This will certainly keep the kids quiet for a bit waiting for some activity.A crow just landed on it causing it to fall over and split! Shall I send it back? :-)

Rubbish
Don’t waste your money on this bird table. Not worth it. Very cheaply made. Spent the day having to go buy more bolts & make adjustments for it to be stable & sturdy.

You Get What You Pay For
As the title says, you really do get what you pay for - so don’t buy this if you’re expecting a top of the rage, sturdy, bomb-proof bird feeder. However…With that said, if you’re prepared with very basic tools and a minor bit of woodworking knowledge you can make this product the majority of the above qualities, which will not only give you a nice little project to do, but will save you a lot of money compared with buying a brand new top of the range one.I bought this initially as a bit of a challenge, as I’d seen so many negative reviews with people complaining about the build quality and the durability of the assembled feeder. And yes, as much as I’m not going to sit here and defend the splintering wood and slightly mis-matched parts, I really don’t think that these things are the end of the world. As I said previously, with a bit of wood glue and some basic tools you can quite easily re-enforce the joints, sand the splinters and weather-proof it which will give you a very nicely finished result. My feeder has been standing strong for several months now (even surviving the 75mph winds of storm Arwen!) and all I had to do was wood glue some of the major joining parts and attach bit of spare roofing felt to the roof of it. I also painted it in some decking paint to make it look nicer, but from a durability standpoint, I don’t think this was necessary. As previously stated - don’t buy this if you want a strong, durable and stylish product off the shelf (once it’s been assembled), but if you want a bird feeder kit that you can improve upon, it’s a great little project and will return whatever you put into it. The birds like it too!

Had to make my own part
As you can see in one of the pictures one of the pieces of wood they made and sent wasn't right, so I made my own rather than have something half made for ages or have to take it apart and send it back. Also the main pole comes in 2 parts, they don't seem to line up very well with each other leaving a small step on each side. some of the holes weren't drilled at the right angles meaning the screws didn't go into the wood correctly. also one of the legs , the back on in the pic look like they have been left to get damp then been sanded and treated and had all the dead wood pulled out of it.for the price it does its job, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or buy another.
