Shimano TL-BT03-S Disc Brake Bleed Tool For Shimano Brakes, One Size

This is Shimano's kit for adding hydraulic fluid to its brake system. The kit makes the job simple once you watch a "how to" video. I was able to fill a new Shimano caliper and brake lines with surprising ease including bleeding the brake. I think the kit is a little pricy so I took off a star; however, I would recommend kit to anyone who is moderately handy as it saves expense of shop repair.

In order to properly fill the brake system, this kit is a must have. The funnel is designed to screw into the brake level so that you can fully load the system and eliminate air bubbles.

I bought this to help with swapping from mechanical to hydraulic disc brakes on my 2018 Specialized Roubaix. This kit makes bleeding SO MUCH EASIER. The cup holder is crucial and the hoses are great at directing fluid into a catch bag and the syringe is easy to modulate. Can’t go wrong with Shimano brand accessories.

I'll keep this short; I used this to bleed my Shimano hydraulic brakes (Dura-Ace and Ultegra). But it's missing the SHIMANO ST-R9120 Funnel Adapter & O-Ring which is necessary to be able to connect to my brake handlebar hydraulic oil reservoir and bleed it. Really should have been included.

For someone who never owned a hydraulic brake road bike before, bleeding the rear brake was a little intimidating. But a few YouTube videos and this excellent kit later and I’m back on the road, good as new.

Finished up today. Does what it's supposed to. Tubing is much better than the off brand crap. Wished it included mineral oil but otherwise this is all you need.

Just like 100% of the Shimano OEM parts and tools, this is exactly as advertised and works flawlessly.

Threads on funnel did not fit on my brake reservoir.Hose constantly slipped off syringe.

Got it in time. Worked as expected. Would buy it again
