Review: Too Big - I didn't realize how big this mailbox is. Don't buy this if you just need a regular house mailbox. It is beautiful and sturdy but made for a rural route or business.
Review: Will not stand behind expensive product. - I bought a Gaines mailbox for several hundred dollars a few years back. The paint is flaking off in several spots and now looks like crap. I talked to the company rep several times only to be told they will not stand behind there product because I do not have the sales receipt. I worked for a major fortune 500 company in the midwest and we always stood behind a product that did not hold up to the quality stated. I even waxed this mailbox only to have the paint flake off. Feel free to purchase their mailbox at your own risk. I have learned my lesson and will never again purchase there inferior product. (P. S. They do look nice when new) They just don't last.
