Comark Instruments | UTL264 | Pocket Electronic Timer

This a multiple repeat buy. I have bought these several times and I use them constantly throughout the day everyday, (in different rooms of my home), and they hold up very well. I started out with one and it worked out so well, the next time I ordered, I ordered several. Each purchase of these have lasted 10-12 years. I am glad to have found these as they are multi- functional, straightforward to use and given all the use they get, they last a long time. If these are something you are looking for, I suggest you give these a try.

Magnet keeps it in place and the alarm is loud... which works for me.

The description says 7 in by 4.5 in. That is the dimension of the package. The timer is about 3x3 inches.

It works great and the buzzer is loud enough that you can hear it.

First, this is purely a count-down timer. It is mildly tedious to set (you hold the button down as it adds minutes or seconds until you get to the time desired) and positively annoying if you are trying to max out the setting, as it does not stop at 99 or 59, but resets to zero and you must start over again. The bulky magnet and clip on the back make it impossible to set or stop without picking it off the fridge (it will just rock to the side and/or fall off a metal surface). This is not good design for a busy cook. In all, I'm sorry I bought it.
