A must for any counselor
A very helpful tool in helping children talk about the intensity of their feelings. Some of my kids like to use it as a charades game and they act out the emotions listed on the sides..... which opens up all kinds of conversation about verbal and nonverbal communication.

okay
Not exactly what I was expecting. I was able to post it in my office at my cubicle but will save it for an office later in my career for viewing. I like the poster size one that I made of this for portability.

Dangerous
Don’t buy this chart. Some these supposed “feelings” are actually judgements! For example, my husband and I had a huge fight and almost got divorced because I said I felt rejected. “Rejected” is listed as a feeling but it’s actually a judgment because it implies that someone else is “doing something to you”. It would’ve been better to say I feel lonely or sad. What I have learned on my own, not from this chart, is that there are basically five feelings: glad sad mad bad and afraid.Other words found on the chart like this one:Hurt, control, neglect, selfish, revenge, disappointment, discouragement, isolation, distressed, doubt.I second complaint with this chart is that all of the emotions listed are Mixed up with no grouping of general quality of feeling. I’m not even in alphabetical order!

Feelings Poster
The Feelings Poster dramatizes the emotional rating positive to negative feelings; but more importantly offers someone "shut down" and/or unpracticed in awareness of how they really feel to identify the word or connection to unblock the sensation which needs expression for a healthy life.

Identify and rate feelings therapy poster
My students don't refer to this as much as I thought they would. It's a good poster though and I call their attention to it.
