Tacstar Tactical Mount Universal Barrel Mount (UBM-2) 1/2 to 3/4-Inch Barrel x 1-Inch Light

Been toying with the idea of lever tactical rifles. The 'Tacstar Tactical Mount Universal Barrel Mount (UBM-2) 1/2 to 3/4-Inch Barrel x 1-Inch Light' worked perfectly to mount a 1 inch tactical light to the magazine tube of my Marlin 1894 44 mag. Held firm in a range session putting 70 rounds of heavy 44 loads through the gun. Have not had a chance to put it on my Marlin 1895 45-70 yet but looks like it will do just fine.

Although super unorthodox, I have used this mount to secure a variety of Fenix LED Taclights (PD30, PD32, PD35, etc) to half dozen AK's (some real, some airsoft) via the with the smaller end gripping either the corrugated section of the gas tube, or the barrel itself, with the light at the 9 o'clock position. Stays put, easy and inexpensive solution. Puts the tailswitch right in front of your left thumb.

Allowed me to clamp a flashlight to the end of the Ruger 10/22 to see at night.

This item let me attach a Nebo Flashlight With laser to my Rossi ranch Hand.It aligned the laser with my iron sights up to 25yds I am very pleased withthe Tacstar Tactical Mount.

I mistakenly thought I was buying for a 16 gauge (it was a gift) and it turned out to be a 12 gauge, but it still fit fine. I lined the barrel side with electric tape just to prevent marring the barrel and paired it with a Streamlight Polytac and it's a nice combo. 4 stars may not be fair; as long as you know you're getting a somewhat crude friction mount I really can't fault it for the price, and there aren't a lot of mount solutions for double-barrel shotguns. Fit and finish were fine, and it shipped with 2 different length screws so you won't have a lot of excess thread showing when mounted.

These have always been good light mounts. Ive had one on my 12ga since 1998 and its still holding stronge.
