I’m a huge fan of the Princeton Red sable brushes. Having said that, they lose their point and shape quickly, especially on canvas. These Hamburg brushes blew me away. They keep the absolute best of natural, soft hair brushes (like mongoose and sable) but in a synthetic blend. The result is a brush that paints ultra smooth, but keeps its body and shape painting after painting after painting. It’s the nicest feeling brush of all of them I’ve tried. And I e tried them all; from $80 sables to $3 black swans. These are fantastic.
