Helly Hansen Women's Pier 2 Pant

I normally buy mens waterproofs because I am reasonably tall and they don't normally make Ladies sizes particularly long in the body however these were plenty long enough - in fact nearly too long. Icould have got away with a L but its not worth trying to change them. I would normally have bought mens L so as to get the hip room, as mens tend to be less big round the hips. They arrived on time. But haven't tested them in anger yet so hopefully they will last as long as my last pair of waterproof trousers which were a different make. The top I bought to go with them was a Gill Ladies size 16 and it was too tight as I like to wear a bouyancy aid underneath and it wasn't possible. So back to mens size L for the top.

Love these. Waterproof and really warm. Alot more confortable than previous waterproof trousers that are more plastic and a bit sweaty and gross. Generous fit so really easy to move around in

Great, fit really well. Bit long in the leg, I wear a 30" and these are maybe 34".

The great quality in these Helly Hansen 'Pier 2 Pant' workers trousers/dungarees for boating/sailing/yachting etc means they're a pretty sound investment as they should last very well based on the workmanship, materials used and the protective seams and finishes - they feel like you can afford to be pretty active in them without worrying about them falling apart or showing wear too quickly. They feel thick but lightweight and I find them very comfortable with a nice loose fit to allow for extra layers underneath during seasons that need it, but easy to tighten up if wearing minimal layers in spring/summer as the adjustable elastic waist lends itself to this and you can then just roll the legs slightly and tighten the adjustable braces - so these are a great versatile, all-year round option.The outer waterproof material has a durable water repellency treatment applied and the inside material is quick dry so you will stay pretty dry no matter what layers you do or don't have and whatever the weather! Also like the velcro wrap legs, reflective details and the large pocket - everything seems to have been considered and these are comfortable, practical and surprisingly stylish looking once on with a fit that's flexible enough to feel comfortable with ordering your standard size and adjusting accordingly.

This is a wonderfully lined and manufactured pair of dark grey, hard-wearing dungarees. They have been specifically designed for keeping you warm and the water and wind out!Velcro and large zip fastenings, adjustable shoulder straps, elasticated waist and large leg pockets contribute to the utility and usefulness of this product. The legs are wide but velcro fastenings enable these to be tightened around the ankles. Further, despite the durability of the fabric used (100% polyester), there is plenty of breathability. Perhaps the most important element of these sailing dungarees are the perfect fit and femininity of the cut once on. These are truly stylish.

I really appreciate the reflective pieces on these pants, also the contrast between the yellow and black is a great touch. It's a niche outfit choice but you can pull this off in many situations, I actually worked it at a festival, it's lightweight and doesn't have padding so it can be good for wear in warm weather.For functionality, it's excellent. It's very strong and can endure a lot, I've fallen countless times in the mud in these and not a single tear. It copes well in the washing machine also.It's also waterproof which is a bonus feature, and dries quickly.
