Be Careful of Smaller Fit, but GREAT Overall Boot!
Be careful- definitely on the small size as compared to most brands including other boots from Irish Setter. Review is after 1 year 3 months of full time oilfield service in northern Michigan's temperate months outdoors plus some hunting use.The good:DurableWaterproof for a very very long timeComfortableClean up well and good looking bootGreat outsoleGood linerGood lacesThe Bad:Runs small (dont plan on wearing thick socks either as toebox and fit is smaller by design)Lost a lug off the bottom of outsole within a year (see pics)Insoles are a bit hard and were quickly replaced for all day comfortOverall great- I'll be ordering my second pair due to size and missing a lug.

Leak. In just damp grass. Avoid
And...another pair of an American company's 'waterproof' boots that leak like a sieve. This is the 3rd pair from a leading American manufacturer that are of abysmal quality. Next pair I'm buying will be cheap foreign rubbish. They'll leak of course, but at least I wont be out close to 200 bucks. All I want is a decent pair of American boots that dont't leak when when walking through a little bit of dew on a patch of grass. Is that too much to ask? Oh, and the sole is starting to be 'chipped' away at the edges. After 3 weeks. Of walking in grass and woodland?Bought American cars for years. Learned my lesson there too. Buy Japanese and German now.Avoid Irish Setters if you want dry feet.

Great all around boot !
This is my all time favorite boot , very rugged and durable boot . It’s NOT a winter boot ( no insulation) but great to wear in winter with the appropriate socks ! This is my second pair and would buy them again !

I wear boots for work in addition to frquently wearing them for recreation. Over the years i have tried dozens of brands but hit paydirt with the Irish Setter Trailblazer. No break-in period required. Without a doubt the most comfortable footwear of any type i have ever had. These are truly worth the expense.

This seems to be a well made boot that fits to size. Its very comfortable initially and will no doubt get more so as it breaks in. The soles do an excellent job of gripping in mud and wet slopes.

Order 1/2 size larger because they do fit small
Boots look to be of decent quality but as another reviewer already commented, they do fit on the small size because I normally wear a men’s 11 and wish I had gotten 1/2 size larger. Sadly they Weren’t available

Plein air, chasse et pêche. Deuxième paire que j'achète après 5-6ans d'utilisation. Fait très bien le travaille pour mes besoins (hors sentier, terrain irrégulier).
