This model is a 1/18 scale replica of the 'Stars and Stripes' Porsche #8 956L driven by the Joest Racing team of George Follmer, John Morton, and Kenper Miller at the 1986 24 Hours of Le Mans on May 31 and June 1 of 1986. The Joest Racing team won the 24 Hours of Le Mans 4 times as the Porsche customer team, but unfortunately they did not win in 1986. This beautiful replica comes complete with sponsor graphics and is an accurate scale model of the one driven in 1986.
