Probably not. This hair isn't kinky enough at all to resemble marley twist hair.

Q: How many packs would I need for a 7 year old?

I did medium size braids on a 11 yr old and that made maybe 16 to 20 braid and I only used 1 1/2 pack of hair in the one pack of 8. The individual packs of hair is a decent amount. Hope that help.

Q: How long is the hair after it is braided?

It was pretty long of course you can add more hair towards the end of the braid to make it longer I used this hair for box braids it was almost butt length
