Quality product
Quality product. I use this compressor regularly to air up my tires after airing down for trail rides. No overheating issues using this compressor and a 1 gallon tank to re-inflate all 4 of my 37x12.5R17 tires from 15psi to 30psi. Takes about 7 minutes to do all 4 tires. That time could be reduced with a larger holding tank.

Airlift upgrade
Used this unit to upgrade my Airlift wireless setup for my truck. The original compressor vs this V103C is literally the "You.. vs. the guy she told you not to worry about" meme. The original did the job, eventually, but after 2 years and picking up heavy loads this little guy finally gave out. I had to get creative and cut up the original Airlift bracket because it clearly wont fit but i really didn't want to lose the original setup, just an upgrade. I also had to run an independent 30A relay to the compressor, if not you'd most likely burn out the module that controls the wireless controller. So far it been performing flawless, Before it would take 55 seconds to build only 40psi. With this upgrade i can touch 40psi in 9-10 seconds which is very noticeable, and being a HD 200PSI pump, this thing can pick up heavy trailer on the hitch significantly better. Next upgrade is to add a tank for on-board air system but for now and towing trailers this was a SOLID upgrade to my airbag system.

Great product
Fills my 4 gallon tank to 150 psi pretty quickly, downside does take a few minutes in sub 0 temperatures but works in temps up to -40 degrees Fahrenheit

Works, but...sounds bad
So it does pump, fills my air tank. But it sounds like something is broke inside, like something is rattling around inside. We'll see how long this lasts I guess.

Broken/Replaced..
I ordered this product in September but only got around to installing it about a month ago so now I can't return. I hooked it up as explained and used a horn relay and now I flows the fuse and tried to melt the wire. I took it out and when I did it rattles and something is broken inside. I'm hoping the company reaches out to me to fix this issue. UPDATE: I contacted the company and it is still under warranty so they are shipping me a new compressor. Very professional and quick to respond.

"Heavy Duty"? Not
UPDATED(see end section)****I installed this as the heart and soul of my airbag system on my truck, along with a 5 gallon air tank. It worked fantastically for about a year, at which time it blew the fuse. A couple months later as I was investigating to see why the fuse blew, I pulled the compressor out of my truck and it had a rattling sound. I pulled the front cover off and discovered that the piston rod had broken in two pieces. I tried contacting Viking to get replacement parts. They have yet to respond to me. I would not recommend buying this overpriced compressor because it will fail. The title says heavy duty but I would not call it heavy duty.****Update****Viking finally got a hold of me and they were so kind to let me buy a replacement piston and cylinder for $36. Now I am into this compressor $200 a year later. I would not say that it is not worth it. They advertise it as "Heavy Duty" but it can't even hold up to an occasional use for airbags (maybe twice a month for a few hours... Only running to refill the tank). I possibly would have changed the star ⭐ ratings to a 3-4 if they would have replaced the defective parts for free, but leaving it as 1 ⭐.

Fantastic reasonably priced gem of a compressor.
This compressor is just what the 150 PSI airhorn doctor prescribed. I attached this gem atop a 1 1/2 gal tank with wormgear clamps, secured my electrical connections and relays to it and securely attached the assembly to the enclosed bed of my F250 Super Duty diesel, ran the airline to the horn mounted to the frame rail and now have a VERY EFFECTIVE traffic mover. There's no room in the engine compartment for any of this equipment, so this arrangement worked great and is so easy to access. I also added a 25ft length of airline with quick connect coupler for inflating tires and running small air tools, etc.
