Some soft, weak shells
I received about 19 snails very well packaged in a small cup with damp paper towel, in a box padded with newspaper. Four of the darker snails had very soft, weak shells, one broke in transit (as pictured). The red ones are too small for me to be able to distinguish if their shells are soft. Originally I separated them by color for two tanks, but now I have them quarantined with some calcium vita chews and pulverized egg shell. I'm going to give them a few days to a week to build some strong shell and then put them in their respective tanks.

Well packed, extras, few DOAs!
Well worth the wait for these little guys!Snails came wrapped in a MOIST (had a little bit of water pooling at the bottom) paper with a little bit of plant with them, which was in a plastic cup with a tapped down lid, which was wrapped in newspaper in the shipping box.Think I got around 15 or so. Roughly 3 didn't make it (shells were crushed).BUT the snails that did make it, did so good in transit that they laid a few clutches of eggs in the paper!Followed instructions for "waking them up," (why there's so little water in the container) in these pictures. The container will turn into their quarantine container once I'm sure all are alive and kicking.Came with a calcium block for the snails and instructions!I originally was very hesitant because of shipping aquatic life in general, but after seeing a lot of the poorer reviews were about what color they got/didn't get, I decided to go for it since I didn't care what color I got. Only seller offering a smaller amount at a decent price.Very satisfied!

Great service, very satisfied
Couldn't be more pleased with this order. The snails arrived earlier than expected and despite the weather having turned very cold, they were all alive and are now active in my tank. I took care to acclimate them slowly and thoroughly by adding small amounts of tank water every 10 minutes or so to the plastic cup the snails arrived in, which I clipped to the side of the aquarium so that it floated at the top. After maybe half an hour of slow acclimation I sank the cup to the substrate and let the baby snails climb out by themselves. Eventually they all did, and went right to work on some of the problem algae growing on the tank walls. I was so pleased with this order that I immediately ordered a second batch of snails.A week later, I am still just as delighted with these snails as I was at first. I wanted to add, though, that at least in my tank they have so far proved to be very nocturnal. The second day after I introduced them I didn't see any in the tank, so I had a hunch they might prefer the hours when the tank light is off. I made a point of checking the tank with a flashlight a half hour or so after the light went off, and there they were, emerging from the submerged wood and plants. So far they continue to hide in the daytime, but the tank is obviously missing more and more nuisance algae every day. So don't jump to conclusions if you order these and they seem to disappear.

Was pleasantly surprised
I’ve never owned Ramshorn snails before and never noticed them in the chain pet stores. And since We’re all in quarantine I thought, “why not aquascape and have snails delivered to me? The color on the snails are vibrant, they are objectively beautiful. I already have a bunch of snail babies in my tank!I have an Endler Hybrid, Cherry Shrimp, Planted Tank that needs more algae eaters and these little guys are great! (My Tank: Location-NYC (water is super soft), TDS - 268 (I use pure calcium Chloride to increase GH), PH – 7.0, Temperature Range – 72 -77 F (I try to keep it @ 73F, Sponge Filter always, Substrate – 17 LBs of FLUVAL Stratum, Lighting - Fluval Plant Spectrum Bluetooth LED 3.0 (12 hrs 100% with 4 hr break in-between periods of light)PROS:• Easy to acclimate• Beautiful Blue/purple-ish, Gold, Brown & Red snails• Snails proliferate within weeks!• They consume excess food and other waste making tank cleanerCONS:• They may overpopulate the tank, lol• Snails require Hard water which some people may not have in order to prevent shell deterioration

Good Snails
The snails all arrived alive. I got around 20 of them. Lots of pinks/reds and some blue ones. I dropped them all in one corner of my 75 gallon tank about an hour ago and they are on the move all over the tank.

Lots of healthy live snails, & I'm very happy about it!!!
I have a 2.5 Gal. tank with a Galaxy Koi Betta, & have some algae in spots in the tank, even though I do weekly & monthly water changes, & have a slow moving filter system. I like snails, because they eat the algae & fish food that drops to the bottom of the tank, helping to keep it clean.I was very happy when I received the snails today, as all but 2 were alive, & because the seller includes extra, I ended up with 13 live snails, (including a tiny baby!) of at least 2-3 different colors, the red being the most prolific, with some "Brown" that a note from the seller says should turn blue or green with age.The note from the seller has other useful care & notes about the snails on it as well, & the seller even include a calcium pill for the snails/fish as well!Again, I'm very happy with my snails, & I will buy aquatic supplies from this seller again! Thank You Kazen Aquatics! 😸
