I’m really surprised that there are any good reviews on this. I was trying to used it to alter a costume made of a thin cotton and polyester blend, but the handheld sewing machine was useless. It might give you a few inches of correct stitching at most. The thread does not catch on the underside of the fabric. You can see what I mean in the photo. If anything were to snag the thread on the front side of the fabric it would pull the entire thing out immediately (even if the ends are knotted appropriately). It ended up just being a big headache and a waste of my time and money. I’m going to be furiously throwing this in the trash.

Bought this for my daughter to use for her sewing class.This little machine is very ease to use. If you do not want to do a lot of fancy stitching and need a small machine this is the one for you. I thought it was a kids toy noway it is as good as any full size machines and can handle some quite large projects.

Comes pre threaded, so it is ready to use. Needs 4 AA batteries. My daughter thinks it is handy to do those little jobs that are not worth taking out the sewing machine for. It will be used plenty, she has 3 boys. It is easy to use and nice and compact.

Although it is lightweight It is also cheap and hard to use. The manual says the stitches it makes will pull out without doing extra knotting. I could not get it to work on sewing a cuff on a pair of pants This might be great to temporarily sew something to hold in place until you use a regular machine later.

I like this product. I've never used a sewing machine before. At first, I was worried that it would be difficult to operate, but when I received this product, I found it very simple to operate and the process of using it was pleasant. That's great.

Don’t bother. Doesn’t work. Tried several times but the stitches don’t hold or even go beyond few inches.
