NEMA L6-30 Plug. 30Amp. 250Volt. 2-Pole, 3-Wire. Grounding. Locking Plug

This plug is the same quality you'd get from a big box store, but for much less money. The quality is lower than one you'd get from McMaster Carr or similar, but what do you expect for 1/4 the cost. I especially liked that they included different cord clamp plates for various wire diameters. Keeps everything nice and secure.

Does what is expected.

This is at least as nice as the ones at my local hardware store, but cost half as much. There's not much more to say– it fits into the sockets it should fit into, doesn't fit into the sockets it shouldn't fit into, and it hasn't eaten my cat or done anything else unpleasant.

This is a power plug for my 5hp 220vac surface planer. The plug works fine. The plug is a little tricky getting 2 conductor plus ground 10 gauge stranded wire into it, but it works, just be patient. The locking screws work really well. The only reason that I rated the plug with only 4 four stars was that it is really tall for my floor mounted receptacle. The plug height is 2-5/16" tall. It is difficult to get my floor cut out back in place with the cord sticking out of the plug. I would have preferred an offset plug, but I was unable to find any offset NEMA L6-30p.
