Growlanser: Generations - PlayStation 2

IF...YOU....CAN...STAND...LISTENING...TO PEOPLE...TALK-ING...LIKE-THIS.....THEN,,,,I BEE-LEIVE...YOU...MIGHT...EN-JOY...THIS GAMMMMME. I SWEAR! the voice acting in this game is very crappy. the characters just can't seem to match the mood with what is being said. they also never use words like "THAT'S". they say "that is" and that is annoying. the actors over annunciate every single word as if they were paranoid that the digital technology was not enough to allow the player to understand a normal sounding conversation. no. we're too stupid to put together normal sounding sentences. the audio was put together for the people of zimbobway to practice their english listening skills. i'm only playing this because i am retired and own 10,000 or more games and this is one that i never got around to putting in my system and my 7-year old wanted to see what it was about. she lost interest 30 minutes into the first game and the horrible voice acting is causing me to loose interest 2 hours into the game. i really just want to go back to playing kingdom hearts 2 and rogue galaxy. the fighting however is fun. just be prepared to grind your teeth at having to endure less than par crap-sucking actors.

My biggest issue with the games I got is: for one, they didn't come in the original case.And the second reason is, the cases that they came in aren't even good! They are soooo slim and fragile, and are a downgrade from a normal CD case. Though I do love both of these games and will have a ton of fun playing them, but it was a dissipointment.

Amazon said I bought this like 15 years ago, I don't remember that, I don't remember playing it. It does however look cool AF and looks exactly like something that i would play.

This is a good game that includes Growlanser II & III. I liked the Growlancer III better than II because you were able to travel freely. Still they are both worth getting.

I have to admit this is the first time I've ever played a tactic rpg game, I thought it was going to be complicated, but it's very easy and enjoyable. The characters are great and the story is full of emotion and fun, I really like this game, I hope others have the chance to play it.

Exactly as describe and got here in 3 days.

Worth it!

Great game and great service

This is the latest game released by Working Designs. As usual, we have been waiting too long because they delayed, delayed and delayed again. But here it is, and because you waited for so long, you get 2 games for a very low price. This package includes Growlanser 2:The Sense Of Justice(1999) and Growlanser 3: The Dual Darkness (2002). Both games are lasting about 40 hours each, with a total of nearly 10 hours of voice acting. The voice acting is very good, no lame performances! For those of you who are tired of high-tech rpgs like Final Fantasy games, random dungeons and 3-d stuff, then this game is for you! This is an old school rpg for hardcore fans. Caracters are Sailor-Moonish like, every one of the major caracters have their own voice. The game plays close to Final Fantasy Tactics, but better in my opinion.
