Can't find in stores anymore.
This is very difficult to find in the pharmacy now. I have a sensitive stomach and regular aspirin or a.s.a upsets my stomach. Very good price and fast shipping. To the person who said this product didn't relieve their pain like the regular stuff must be from another planet because it's the same ingredient. This one is buffered for stomach comfort..only difference.

Buffered aspirin
I ordered this for my dog who suffers occasionally with hip pain. Buffered aspirin is very hard to find on shelves these days. Works well. My dog weighs 80 lbs so he gets a whole tablet.

Plain old good fer ya buffered aspirin
It's buffered aspirin. It dissolves great, it's a flocculating fast-disintegrating formula. The value of aspirin, i.e. acetylsalicylic acid (in some parts of the world Asprin(r) is a trademark of Bayer), is phenomenal. Derived originally from Willow Bark, which was used for centuries if not millennia to combat fever, rheumatism and other illnesses, whether from the plant, German factories or Chinese ones, it's all the same compound. It turns out that it slows clotting, making it valuable in combating heart attack and occlusive stroke. But it makes bleeding more likely in hemorrhagic stroke. So there you go, the pros and cons. I take one a day. For most people a half or quarter tablet might be better. And with buffering they add some alkaline stuff to counteract the acidity, and it's easier on your stomach. Is there a chance of greater or lesser purity? maybe. But since we can't analyze the meds we buy, there's a leap of faith involved ANY TIME we do, at the pharmacy, over the 'net, at the dollar store. Who knows. I very much doubt garbage aspirin would be pressed into tablets and resold by anyone in the business. Why? because good quality aspirin is available dirt cheap. And I've gotten these exact same tablets, marked with the same 44-183 code, under different labels, at CVS, Raley's etc. So I'm not too worried. They work OK. They don't drop like a rock in your stomach and sit there undissolved until you do the hoola. They've never poisoned my pets or family members. They seem to work just fine. Price is fair, especially in lots of several bottles.

Works great, doesn't upset stomach
Even on an empty stomach this doesn't give pain. Good value for the money at least for being tri-buffered.
