As advertised. The wings are very cute, a little small for my 5 year old, but seems like they will last longer than the coat hanger type wings.

These are SO MUCH better than the flimsy fairy wings that I grew up with and that my older children had.I'm thrilled with this purchase! I bought the wings as part of a Halloween costume but I know they will last for years of dress up play because they are made so well. I could see how some said the edges are kind of Sharp but this wasn't an issue for us at all. I'll definitely recommend these to other moms

So I do like these wings. They are lightweight yet sturdy and well made. They won't tear or fall apart easily unlike the ones made of wire and netting which we had previously. HOWEVER, one flaw in the design is the jagged pointy edges (like the edges of a steak knife) will leave scratches all over the back of your little one's arms (and possibly friends standing next to him or her). The wings can't be bent permanently away from the arms. On the other hand, my daughter said it wasn't painful for her... But a pity, the edges could have been rounded off. Finally, the elastic arm holds are probably just fitting my smallish 5yr old. They could be too small for bigger 5yr olds and up.
