it is hard to find real pine nuts
It is great to be able to get real Italian pine nuts! Most pine nuts are now grown in China and it is hard to find the original kind which are longer (rather than egg shaped). The taste is pretty similar, but I started having a bad reaction to the rounder pine nuts (a kind of mild food poisoning that left me with bitter taste in my mouth that lasted for over a week - very strange) and discovered that other people had also experienced this reaction from pine nuts recently. It seems that all sorts of new varieties are necessarily being pressed into service in order to satisfy the great demand. Obviously, pine nuts are not an essential need for anybody's diet, but I like them and it is nice to be able to have them again from time to time.

Nice quality and taste
Delicious pine nuts. Nice size and texture. I have ordered these more than once and the quality has been consistent. I'm a basic cook and I enjoy these on spaghetti squash with a little cheese. Makes it taste exotic to my unsophisticated taste buds.

Seemed fresh!
The pine nuts seemed fresh upon arrival, and almost all of them were intact, which is amazing since these had to be shipped all the way to Guam, and the box they arrived in was pretty beat up upon delivery. Just once star down, since I think they are over priced, even considering this is the only source of Italian pine nuts that I have found on this island.

Great pine nuts
These are good quality Italian pine nuts which do not cause the metallic taste which many pine nuts do.

Top quality and worth the money without the concern about the possibility of bitter taste as with the nuts from China

Don't waste your money on this one.
Where's the advertised rich aroma, the delicate taste and buttery flavor to command such a premium price? These pine nuts taste like BacOs! The package label does indicate that they are "produced on shared equipment with peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, soy & eggs," but why the overpowering artificial bacon flavoring? Not for me.
