The wax changes the shade of camo
I do like this hat, the wax gives it a unique feel and is a water repellent. The main downside is the shade differences of the camo pattern. I assume it is from the waxing, however it completely changes the way the camo looks compared to an unwaxed version. All of my duck hunting clothing is a near match between pieces, except for this cap. Actually, it is way off. Overall a good hat!

Its a nice hat but kinda wished it was the flex fit instead of the weird snap back thing that it has. But it fits pretty good.
