I couldn't use it was made more different from the one that fits the troy bilt 725exi model TB230 163cc it was not able to connect to the plug that would cause it to operate properly

well make sure u know what u need ..im sure this part will work... but i guess i have other issues with the mower>>>>>> but now i have extra parts....
