Excellent quality product that does what it says. These nitrobacters are strong and got to work immediately. I had a somewhat dirty filter and tank - who doesn't at times? - so I got a big spike in N2 and N3 - I was expecting this as the bacteria had plenty of food to process, after a few water changes the tank is sparkling clean and all N levels are low. This is ideal to get a new set up cycling quickly. I will buy again and for as long as I have tanks.

This product is great for the price. I had to dose twice a day, however, for nearly 3 weeks for it to cycle my aquariums. But I still have more than enough of the bottle left. I am slowly starting to see only nitrites and nitrates in my 40 gallon. But I fear it will be another 2 weeks before I start to see only nitrates, which means the cycle is complete.I am hoping this will be long-standing and hardy bacteria rather than the bacteria you get in a bottle like quickstart and stability. Those kinds of bacteria die off quickly, I've found and it crashes the cycle.

It's hard to measure how effective this product is, but I am skeptical since ammonia and nitrite levels do not drop rapidly when following their directions.

I use this to help speed up the cycling of a new tank or to adjust a tank faster when making a big water change. Works great! Couldn't be happier. Readings for my water are always excellent and I believe this has helped. :)

Product is working great. Three plus weeks into my first fishless cycle and my ammonia levels are in check. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the bottle I received expires in 6 months. Perhaps they have a short shelf life but I’m kinda doubting that.

I have a 500-gallon tank that has high levels of Nitrites. over 2ppm. I removed some of the water into a 5-gallon bucket added a small heater and air to keep things moving and plenty of this product. The nitrites levels have not gone down. I would have expected some change in the levels after 24hrs.

Used in a new, 55 gallon fresh water start-up tank 2 months ago. Many fish placed in tank early. Checked my chemical levels weekly. Never saw a jump in ammonia, nitrates, or nitrites. Had brown algae growing on the glass in 4 weeks and much more than I wanted in 7 weeks. Was able to add the Placo, algae eaters, and snails I wanted earlier than expected. They cleaned it all up in 4 days (perhaps I added a couple too many algae eaters, :-) ).
