As such, I hate the far too tall pull rods. I have chopped a few myself, though I wasn't thrilled about doing that on my new hardware. I have "the classic" from Tama hardware kit, amd it does fit, IF you take the plastic damper nut off of the old rod, and swap it with the one on this. Can be done with just your fingers. It's just the right length, a perfectly matched finish, and seems like durable, quality manufacturing. Perfect, especially for the price!
