Excellent value if you're looking to upgrade a basic computer to be used for web browsing or watching movies etc. Good clock speeds and latency for the price, very simple bare bones form factor (no heatsink). Product came well packaged and protected, brand new in sealed packs and worked like a charm.Some reviews mention needing new drivers for windows but this shouldn't be necessary as memory is handled by the motherboard's BIOS. Haven't bothered trying any XMP profiles as it's being used for a simple media computer. I'd refrain from selecting these for a dedicated gaming rig and spend a bit more for better clocks and latency with integrated heat spreaders.

We needed additional memory for an ageing but otherwise high performance Dell Precision T1700 PC in our office which was struggling to run multiple and memory-intensive applications like Photoshop, Gigapixel, Inkscape causing regular freezes during memory page-swaps.The same Micron memory as currently installed is still available on the 2nd user market (untrusted) and new compatible branded memory from the likes of Crucial, Kingston, etc. is EOL but still available some places at significant cost. This brand new compatible memory from Royemai was 1/3 the cost of Crucial so purchased and arrived next morning (within 12 hours!), installed in 3 minutes, automatically recognised on boot-up and everything is working great! Assuming it will be reliable then we have extended the life of a good office PC for an absolute bargain price 👍

Good price. These is a commodity device and it worked fine on installation. Nothing exciting about it. Ask me in 3 years if I have had any trouble with the chips.

Got to ugrade a dell opticplex 3050 which will be used as a music computer only. Fitted straight away and after a few mins of sorting out the settings computer runs better. No problems yet.

I bought this pair of 2 x 8GB RAM units to upgrade my 10 year old Acer E1-571 from 8GB to 16GB. The units came well packaged and sealed, and were easy to install. The effect on my laptop was apparent as soon as I switched on: the laptop started up at double the speed of previously, and is much more instantly responsive to commands. The computer identifies the new RAM OK, but Device Manager tells me to find a new driver, but so far as I can tell that is not in fact necessary. I can't remark on longevity as I've only been using the RAM for 4 hours so far, but based on my immediate experience I recommend these RAM units.

These worked soon as placed in computer , ideal for the price .Dell 5040 now performs like a new computer .

Perfect for my older iMac. I had only 8(2x4) ram in it , i added 16 (2z8) in the 2 empty slots. That iMac speed improved a lot with a total of 24 Ram . Great purchase!

My old laptop (circa 2011) only had 4GB of ram. I just use it for simple stuff like occasional streaming, spreadsheets, documents, browsing, web design, etc. It's been a good laptop but was starting to get slow (especially multi-tab browsing and web design). Swapped that old ram for 2 of these and the computer feels almost like a new one; snappy, responsive, fast booting. I recommend looking at your current memory before ordering, just to be absolutely sure you're ordering compatible memory.I also can't complain about the price. For <$150 I basically rebuilt and modernized that old laptop with a new battery, new keyboard, 4x the memory and a wireless numberpad/bigger touchpad. I didn't have to change the hard drive because it was already SSD. Decent!
