Elite corer
It arrived on the day expected, the 11th. I recently bought a dehydrator and used it with some apples before ordering the corer. Kind of a bother getting parts of the cores out. Started looking at corers and decided on this one partly due to looks and partly from reviews. The cost I felt was reasonable. The next day I used it to prepare to dehydrate some more apples. It is very easy to use. All it takes is a little pressure and a slight twist of the wrist (these are old wrists). I will need a little practice going from stem end to blossom end on the crooked apples but even it that doesn't work, it is easy enough to get the remainder out of the apple. I didn't have any problem getting the core out of the corer either as some reviewers had stated. I hope to use this for a long time to come.

and is easy to use
I have been using this off on and for a few months now, and have not had a problem with it. It has kept its edge, and is easy to use. The grip works fine, although one could argue it could be slightly better. Due to my not having any issues with this product yet I may buy more items from this company, if I need things they sell.

Well made product that does what it's designed to do ...
Well made product that does what it's designed to do......only problem I find with almost all of them is the diameter of the hole they cut is too small and doesn't remove the entire core without having to make multiple cuts...

Works much better than those corers that create slices
Works much better than those corers that create slices. Those corers require that your apple or pear have a perfectly symmetrical shape and sit evenly on a plate or cutting board. With the Elite Chef, you can hold the apple or pear in your hand and remove the core easily no matter the shape or lack of symmetry.
