Not working because it does not have a driver. The links to download driver in these questions do not work. Do you have another driver link? Win 10

I found the driver in my computer's G drive (it could be any letter) as a "usb display device". Try clicking that one. The Win10 version will show as dated 10/16/2019.  Installed drivers from there.

Question 2

When pc puts the monitor to sleep, it will not wake back up. must reboot the pc to reinstate the usb hdmi. do you have a new driver?

Right after I bought my HDMI-USB converter, I got an email from ablewe telling me about an updated driver. Supposedly, it was to update Windows XP/7/8 users to Windows 10. I had not yet installed the supplied driver as the mini-CD that came with the unit was broken, so I downloaded the new driver and all seems to be working well, Try contacting ablewe about this driver update.

will this adapter permit an Amazon Firestick to be connected to the usb video input on a 1080p hdtv?

Accepted Answer

This adapter is used for video OUT from a computer, not video IN from an HDMI source. In your example it wouldn't work. Additionally, most TVs that have USB ports load files off of storage devices such as hard drives or flash drives from them, they don't support video in via adapter.

Question 4

I plugged in the adapter and installed the driver. The icon is continually flashing in my system tray: starting and stopping. Anything else to try?

did you install the new updated driver they emailed? I installed it and my monitor would not work so I installed the driver from the disk again and it is now working fine. It will at times not see the connection and all I do is unplug and plug back in and it works again. they may need to fix their driver. the new one does not work properly.
