Good book- but a little bit of a boring read

I am a graduate counseling student, and this book was recommended to me by a professor who is also a psychologist at a large university in my city. I ended up basing an entire independent study course around the information provided in this book. It is an excellent source of sound research on many topics within the field of counseling gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender clients. I would recommend this book to any student of psychology or counseling or any professional counselor, therapist, or psychiatrists who may encounter GLBT clients in their work. It is readable, yet based on peer-reviewed research and unique issues that confront these clients.
