Perfect Clothesline for Winter Jackets, Snow pants and More
I bought this to put out in our garage for hanging wet snow gear and clothes. It will easily hold 5 kids' snow pants, coats, mitten, hats, and other winter garbs without any trouble. While I wouldn't recommend hanging on it like a zipline, it is definitely sturdy enough to take some serious weight when it comes to clothes. Steel cable is super strong and coated, so it won't damage your garments and the retractor sucks up the line when not in use. You don't even notice it is in the garage, as it has a very small footprint on the wall. Maybe 1/2 of a small kleenex box. Very happy with it and it does just what I had hoped it would. I would buy this again if it breaks down the road.

The 18” doll clothes line
Well I have had this for a little over a month and a half and originally bought it thinking I would secure it to a couple trees and have a cloth line for outside but when I got it I decided not so much a good idea then 1 day I was like oh I no I own my own 18” doll clothes business and this would be perfect to help me hang and organize through all of the outfits so I started hooking it up and that was so easy and it worked perfect it was sturdy it had a little lock line switch so the line stayed it was an incredible device for my project def would recommend

Gets the job done
I have a small mudroom and was using a foldable drying rack. It was too bulky. This clothes line is nice however I thought there were two rows of clothes line but there is only one. The other knob is to lock the clothes line in place. Since my space is so small I do put the wet clothes on hangers and it works well. I use it for my 2 year old sons clothes so they arent very heavy.

DO NOT BUY. What a piece of crap
DO NOT BUY. We got this and put it up, and it seemed like it would be perfect for what we needed. We started hanging clothes on it to dry, and the line was sagging so badly the the clothes all slid down the wire in a jumble together. So we tightened the tension, which seemed to work, and then the line broke out of its housing. Turns out it was wrapped around a cheep little plastic wheel which can’t last for long. I repeat, do not buy this!

Wish I had gotten it sooner.
I’ve been eyeing this for some time. My laundry room is also the walkway from the garage to the foyer. I thought since this is retractable it would be good for when it is not needed. After getting it, I decided to put it in my small master bathroom. I love it. Out of site when not needed and holds everything when needed. Easy to install too.

Doesn’t take up space :D
Must have if you live in a small apartment like me. The space in NYC is very valuable so having a clothesline to hangdry your clothes is almost impossible. I’m glad I found this product. It’s very good quality! it did require some tools for installation though, my husband was able to put up in about 15mins

Perfect to save space
I have a pretty small laundry room, and having a folding drying rack just took up way too much room. I saw a video of someone using one of these retractable lines, so I decided to give it a try.Installation is easy. It comes with glue and screws. Since my laundry room is bare walls, I went with the screws and screwed them right into the studs. The box then just clips onto the base plate and you are good to go. The line has held all the laundry I have put onto it without any sign of strain. Even wet quilts and blankets. My only concern when ordering it was that the metal line might rust eventually and then get rust on the clothes. However, the line appears to be coated in a clear sleeve, so I don't think that is a problem.I am very happy with this purchase. It has freed up a ton of room in my laundry room.

Fantastic and well made.
Much better than I expected. Sturdy and well made. I use it to hang my laundry, that isn’t recommended for the dryer, indoors to dry. I love this thing. It’s out of the way when I’m not using it and the unit looks nice enough not to be an eyesore. I wish that I had two of them. I thought that this one was two lines but it’s one line and the other knob is just the lock for the one line :(

Sags a bit
Easy to install, practical and discreet however the line will sag a bit depending on how you are hanging your clothes up. I put mine on clothes hangers and then on the line since we have it on a shorter wall. Therefore the hangers from the ends tend to slide down towards the middle. That’s when I use clothespins to hang up smaller items to stop the heavier ones from sliding. No biggie! I would buy another one for sure!

Awesome retractable clothesline
I'm so glad I found this unit after scrolling through and looking up different clothes lines. I love that it's discreet, the steel cord is sturdy and strong, there is no line sagging because you lock it in place, and the retract mechanism works great. I totally recommend this product.
