The blade came sharper than any of my other 6 Benchmade knives that I own.The locking mechanism takes a little getting use to because my other BM are all axis locks. It has a very fast assist , very strong spring in it, and it locks up really strong too, but I still like the good old axis lock better. The action is very similar to the Barrage, but to close it, you don't have to pull back on the lock, just push one or both of the lock buttons. I love the overall size and shape of the handle. Here is the handle and blade specs because all the people on You Tube that review knives never give the thickness or width, just length, and it's hard to tell how thick or wide the knife is just from pictures. The blade is 1.25" at it's widest point, 3.6" long. The handle is also 1.25 " wide and is .60" thick but tapers down a little toward the butt of the knife and is 4.8" long. My only complaint would have to be that the G10 handles are very smooth, not a lot of grip, so the knife could use a little more jimping in different spots to make up for that.
