Boring.
I read everything in this genre. This is exceptionally boring and slow. I stopped reading half way through the book as I couldn’t get into it. No real story line. just boring.

Mudd nails this topic
Phil Mudd is a highly respected Agency alumnus. His insights and analysis are balanced, without vitriol. His criticisms of the Senate investigation are on point and rational based on experience, not the prevailing views of the post 9/11 armchair analysts.

Decent Book
Mudd's book is pretty interesting. If given the option I'd give it 3.5/5 stars. The book gives a summary of the CIA pre/post 9/11 so it might be a bit redundant for people who know a lot about the subject. However, it was interesting for someone like me who's just getting into it.

Must read in these times!
Book is awesome. I was disappointed the author did not do the narration. But timely and well researched!

great read
The one thing you learn is that no matter if the rules are followed, as they did their best to do here. although said rules were constantly changing. These people did an exemplary job,you will ALWAYS be betrayed and stabbed in the back by politicians. They are in my mind the lowest form of life still considered human. Why the people in the CIA, who saved many lives after 9/11 would ever trust this type of bottom feeders is beyond me. Thank you Phil Mud.
