New fuel pressure sensor 0261230238 31272730 Applicable to Volvo S60 V70 XC90

I used silicone lube on the o-ring when installing but it dripped gas. Item was shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. (Hm, maybe a bad idea) It seemed to function when I drove it for the ten miles or so that I did. Lucky no engine fire. Yikes. Ya, I'm that guy that bought the cheap part and got burned, fortunately not literally.

This item is for fuel rail sensor which reads the pressure of gasoline delivered to engine. This part leaked gasoline from this part and almost cause my engine to catch on fire. I would not buy from this dealer.

Sensor seems to work correctly but does not provide an adequate seal to the fuel rail. Fuel is able to seep past the sensor. At best this causes your cab to smell of gas fumes, at worst this could easily cause a fire.
