Best gift for my 2 years old, he loves it 🤹🏽♀️🤹🏽♀️🥇 🥈 🥉 🏅 🎖
Great, classic, and kinetic activity. Will last for this generation and the next. The abacus is sturdy and well-constructed. We are using the abacus for our 2-year-old had a stroke. He is very slowly recovering but lost the ability to speak and read. He was formerly very number/math-friendly, and we hope the abacus will help with restoring some of that ability. He has shown distinct signs that he still retains some ability with numbers, and we want to enhance that.We realize our intended use diverges from the usual for kids, so take the critical comments with a grain of salt. I will also note that our son was pleased with all of us zinging beads across the wires... maybe not a numerical function, but still fun... and making him laugh is a reward in and of itself! He usually sticks this to some table or glass window and since this has a really nice quality suction cup it stays there.Love itIf this review have helped you to make a decision please hit a helpful button.

Not much suction
My son loves this toy. (honestly though he loves almost every toy). I have a couple issues with this item.1.) The suction cups are small and do not have much suction power. I pushed it down onto the wooden floor and my 1 year old was able to pull it off.2.) The colored tracks are too close together. This inhibits some of the beads from moving freely along their assigned tracks, forcing me to have to try and "loosen" and wiggle the tracks to get the beads moving. These are not huge issues. I also thought this item was bigger than what I received but really the dimensions are in the description, which I obviously didn't read very well. All in all my son likes to play with it and that's all that matters.

Cute smaller bead maze
This toy is a great size (smaller than the older versions I've seen) and seems well-made. 6-month-old grandbaby liked it (well, he put it in his mouth right away, so I think that means he liked it!) The beads move smoothly and it all looks and feels great. I think he will enjoy it for months to come as he learns to manipulate the beads himself. The abacus style beads (the straight horizontal sections on the sides) are a nice touch, as I imagine those will be the first and easiest to move, before he moves on to the trickier maze-like movements. Mom and dad were glad that it is small enough to put away easily as they live in a small apartment (and baby gear has a way of taking over!) We didn't use it on a table top or hard floor, so can't speak to the suction function, but that seems like a good feature to include. Would buy again (and probably will for his future cousins!)

OK
Bought this for my sons first birthday. He has only played with it a handful of times, he doesn't seem that interested in it. My 3.5 year old daughter plays with it every now and then. I like the bright colors and the animal shapes. The suction cups work on glass, which was a bummer, I was hoping to attach it to my wood coffee table. The worst thing about this is that the metal wires are loose and wobbly. I am kind of worried they are going to pull out from the base and the beads are going to come off, which will be a choking hazard. Overall, I would say it's ok.

A must have for any toddler
I purchased this for a baby shower. I remember how much my son loved his as a baby and I knew any kid would love this classic toy. The animal beads are a cute touch and the spiralled pathways are entertaining. I am very happy about the different colors of beads at the bottom. They can be used to teach counting and even basic arithmetic skills.

broken beads = CHOKING HAZARD
I really wanted to love it. Reviews looked amazing. The product looked great. Baby seems to enjoy playing with it.']-\BUT, the product started BREAKING APART right after the return window has closed. How convenient?? I found my baby girl playing with the broken half of one of the red/yellow beads on the bottom. IF I HAD NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION, who knows what she could've done with that broken piece?? CHOKING HAZARD!!I have a 9 month old baby who barely knows how to play with this bead maze so all she does is watching me while I show her how it's supposed to work, so there was no way that she's strong enough to tear this thing apart.

Perfect size for a 1-2 year old.
Was smaller than expected (I guess I could have actually read the dimensions) but it is the perfect size for my 1 1/2 year old to carry around with her. She loves these sort of things and being able to carry it around is a plus in my book.I’m not really sure what the suction cups are for as it’s small enough where she could pull it off the window pretty easily and I’m not sure what else they would be used for. Overall a great item and of course got it super fast with Amazon’s shipping service.

Basic old-time fun
The Toyerbee bead maze was a great gift for our grandson. There were several toys for Christmas. He seems to enjoy the ones that encourage basic skills over the high-tech ones. The bead maze is a bit above his 12 mo. age, but promises to be a great curiosity boost for him when he is more into sitting rather than constantly running (walking/running is a novel, newly discovered talent).
