Excavator works well. Has cute features.However,1. After charging the excavator battery. making the wiring connection to the machine is difficult.2. The battery lid is difficult to close once the battery is installed. Should have had more room in compartment.3. I don't know if there is a shut off button on the excavator, or there is a defect, but after connecting the battery, the flashing light on the excavator stays on, which will eventually drain the battery. Needs to be disconnected after every use.4. There is a tiny screw that needs to be taken out of the controller in order to change the batteries. Easy to lose.5. second recharging battery would have been nice.Overall, the engineering, could have been a little more thought through. I would give it 5 stars for overall performance , but due to the difficulty with the above mentioned, I would only give it a 3 1/2 stars. This excavator is for my grandson and I don't know how much patience my son will have to keep up with it.

This toy is amazing. I don’t usually write reviews, but here are the reasons why:- the cab has an led light letting you know that the excavator is on.- makes real noises including backing up beeps and the excavator shakes and starts up when you turn on the ignition.- the boom is controllable.- the tracks on the excavator grip well.- there is a horn, music button, ignition etc on the controller.Bottom line, if you have a 2.5-5 year old, this is a must get. I’m still stunned by the quality and features of this thing.The item is a little on the smaller side, so don’t expect something massive.

Very easy to control and it’s impressive what you can do with it. Also love the fact that the bucket is actually metal!

Got this for my 2 year old and he’s been playing everyday! Durable because it hits the walls all the time. Also very responsive to the remote. Keeps him entertained for a while

This remote control toy is awesome. Made out of metal so it should be durable. Also ots a gift for my nephew!!! Cant wait to give it to him

Great product. Too bad we can't control the bucket.

Worth the price

It has many small details in it's appearance that add to the realistic look. The movements of the digging arm and bucket are smooth and deliberate as you would expect from the real thing.

The functioning looks good , but the assembling of battery is difficult in the remote. The product quality is not that great.Update, the remote controller is not working anymore and my kid is very sad, the product dint last 15 minutes working well.Frustrated!
