None of the grain bags purchased such as this should require moisture added. I would look into a different brand/supplier as I had issues with both of the grain bags I purchased from this vendor. The first one was not completely sealed and ran a risk of contamination, however it did not. Still not good. Bought another to give them another try. The second bag exploded with bacteria contamination and had to be thrown away. Completely dissatisfied with this product and would not recommend. **Q: Whats the benefit of the self healing injection port?** A: Less possibility for mold introduction. **Q: can you let the mushrooms fully grow in the bag?** A: Not the best way to do it. ## Frequently Bought Together - BetterFungi 3 Lb Sterilized Grain Bag with Injection Port (Milo) - Make Your Own Master Grain Spawn - Boomer Shroomer Dry Bulk Substrate for Mushroom Cultivation (Coco Coir, Vermiculite, Gypsum) | Produces 10 Pounds of Pasteurized Substrate, Enough for Two Boomer Shroomer Inflatable Monotub - 3M Micropore Tape 1530-1 (2 rolls) 1 x 10 yards --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/146601142-3-lb-sterilized-grain-bag-with-injection-port-milo-make](https://www.desertcart.be/products/146601142-3-lb-sterilized-grain-bag-with-injection-port-milo-make) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
