Very intense, earthy; good deal
There were actually only 27 sticks in the package instead of 30, but they are so thick I don't know if I'm going to miss the other 3. The price was excellent, and the shipping was free, so there is remarkably little to complain about. And indeed, some of the proceeds (though only 1%, so 6 cents) go to a Tibetan refugee fund, which is also nice. The scent is very powerful, and the sticks are very thick and burn a remarkably long time. I've already taken to breaking them in half so that I don't get overpowered, and that seems to do the trick. Unlike many other kinds of incense, these are just solid mass all the way through, without a central stick, so the entire thing is combustible. The main ingredient, as pointed out by other reviewers, is Juniper, which provides a very earthy, dense aroma. Some people might find it off-putting, since it is a bit more like a campfire than the artificially sweet scent of many other incenses, and there is nothing artificial about this. However, simply comparing it to a campfire belies the complexity that this incense possesses. Expect the dominant note to be piney like some Christmas incenses, but with a very multifaceted spicy undertone from all of the other ingredients. It is extremely powerful, and so you might find yourself only wanting to burn 1/2 or 1/3 of a stick, since the scent also fills the room quickly and remains for long after the stick burns out.I will definitely buy this again when I run out, and I will probably try other products from this seller.

Wonderful aroma, but loses aroma if stored too long
Vendor did a good job. There was a simple mistake with the order, and the vendor corrected it immediately. So I would definitely order from them again.I love this incense, and it has a very authentic aroma, as if it was made from plant materials, not just filler dipped in oil. That's a good thing, but then it loses its intensity over time when stored for several months. This puzzles me, as real, plant-based incense is supposed to retain its aroma and even mellow with time, but not weaken. I can't explain this, but dried cooking herbs also lose some flavor over time. So while incense isn't supposed to do this, it makes sense to me. It doesn't stop me from buying this product, I just don't recommend buying more at one time than you plan to burn in the next couple of months.

Wonderful
I love this incense. It's very earthy smelling and pleasant. It burns very well and releases a very calming aroma. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes incense! The only thing I would say is that, like most Tibetan incense I've used, it is fatter at the bottom than most stick-incenses. I just had to enlarge the holes on my wooden incense holders and it works fine. Another thing I do is stick these incense sticks in pots filled with dried rice or soil and that seems to work well.

Excellent Tibetan Variety
Unlike most Indian or American made incense, burning a single stick of Tibetan incense is generally satisfactory. So although it is generally priced higher than Indian or domestic varieties of incense, you get much more aroma from a single stick. The Earth is no exception to this rule. True to its name, it has an earthy, herbal aroma that lasts long after the stick has finished burning. It is definitely one of the more delightful varieties of Tibetan incense that I have tried, and I highly recommended it.

I love the Earth and the Peace but I'd like to ...
I love the Earth and the Peace but I'd like to hear how others burn them. They are fatter and don't fit any of my incense holders.

very good
very good, natural, subtle aroma. arrived in one piece. these sticks burn for quite a long time, and are a bit less aromatic than others, but i like that. it is more like incense i found in tibet, where, by the way, this is made.

nice
Very smooth but very traditional Tibet stile fragrance. Earthy and pleasant, yet mild and woodsy. a good buy for sure, thin sticks keep the smoke from becoming to much- a good night time burn.-BW
