Direct replacement for the original drill battery that is no longer made by Makita.
My cordless drill worked fine except for the battery would no longer hold a charge. The original battery made by Makita is no longer produced. This fits perfectly and has worked great.

Should have bought this ages ago
Had batteries for my drill that were many years old and only held a charge for a minute or two. Just never thought about replacing the batteries as the issue was soon forgotten after completing whatever job I was doing. Finally looked on Amazon and found this battery for a very reasonable price. Ordered the 2 pack and couldn’t be happier. It is so nice to charge the battery once for a job and have it work all the way through as well as have it still work off the same charge a week or two later. It’s the little things in life that makes us happy. Haven’t had the product long enough to comment on longer term durability. Will wait and see.

Replaced original battery
Considering the oem was not available at time of need, I purchased these off brand pair. Fit perfectly both the drill and in multi battery charger. The charge time cut in half compared to oem battery due to cell construction. Slight loss in power but still works good. Will buy more untill the drill fails.

Great replacement battery pack for my old, old Makita circular saw. It slipped right into the battery holder and fits just right.

Couldn’t persuade my Makita saw to turn on
These batteries charged up quickly in my old Makita charger. Unlike a previous brand I had tried, they fit in my old Makita reciprocating saw. But the saw would not turn on as it had done briefly with its run-down original battery. I realized it was time to give up on the $3 saw and charger from an estate sale. So I returned these batteries. They might work for someone else.

Does the job!
I was looking for a replacement for my MAKITA power drill and flashlight that is ancient..... These batteries were a life saver to keep my antique power drill that I love and flashlight from the landfill. So grateful for these rechargable batteries.
