Botanical Illustration for Beginners: A Step-By-Step Guide Hardcover – April 21, 2015

Very nice book, it has a lot of helpful information and colorful pictures.

I bought this as a Kindle download and I'm really impressed with the very clear instructions. My medium of choice is coloured pencils and have yet to try watercolours but I feel inspired now to give it a go. This book has the best explanation of primary, secondary and tertiary colours I have ever seen and the explanations of cool and warm colours is really helpful. I would strongly recommend this book to beginners

This book is awesome! The illustrations are beautiful and tutorials are very educational. I'm not really a botanical artist, but I wanted to learn and that's why I purchased the book. I believe this to be one of the best artist reference books that I've seen. The author does a great job of presenting color mixes, which was a great help even in other watercolor paintings.

I received this yesterday and I am the proud owner of ALL the Project Eden books.They are so helpful for the new student and this newest book is just the same. I am new to watercolorand this book tells you EVERYTHING! Again, I really would get this book for learning botanical illustration.It is a gem as are all the Eden books.!

This one is a little more than beginners. Great introduction to a complicated subject. It will get you thinking along a different line if you are doing still life or any plant painting in watercolor.

I love this book! It is full of wonderful, detailed instruction. If you are looking for a great how to book on botanicals, this book is it.

Completo. O livro é bem diagramado, com uma leitura fácil e muito didático. Uma ótima aquisição tanto para iniciantes quanto para quem já pinta.

Es un libro con una gran calidad en su edición. El contenido también vale mucho la pena. Lo recomiendo mucho, mucho. Sobre todo para las personas que desean iniciar su aprendizaje en la ilustración botánica. Muy satisfecha con esta compra.
