I did not understand all the hype about a weighted blanket. Just seemed to me that there would be excessive weight on your body while sleeping. However, my 3yo granddaughter is getting her own room with her big-girl bed. I read the reviews about the blanket helping with anxiety, so figured what the heck; we'll see if she sleeps good in a room all by herself. When the blanket arrived, I pulled it out to just see what the big deal was all about. It is super soft! I laid down on the bed to see how this felt; although it was only 5lbs. Next thing I know, I'm waking up from the best nap I've had in years! Yep, surprised me good!! Next purchase will be a selfish one... it will be for ME!!!

My bonus daughter has anxiety and sensor issues. She loves this and it has helped her sleep much better too.

This blanket is absolutely awesome I have a grandson who has autism and he loves this weighted blanket. It’s all about the texture with him and the fact that it is very soft makes it an excellent choice because that’s what he likes the best so I am extremely pleased with this blanket

My daughter is seven and she loves this blanket. She said it makes her feel safe like she’s getting a big hug. It’s very therapeutic for her as she has behavioral issues and is on the spectrum.

I should have ordered a 10 lb instead of a 12 lb which is so heavy. I was not aware nor was there any instructions on proper weight needed. It is 4 inches shorter than advertised which does not cover my feet.
